- PS5 and XSX offer two display modes: Quality and Performance. Xbox Series S offers only one display mode.
- Quality mode on PS5/XSX improves draw distance, particles and amount of vegetation.
- Xbox Series S has some cutbacks in vegetation (equivalent to XSX/PS5 performance mode), particles, draw distance, water quality, shadows and ambient occlusion (the latter being the most noticeable).
- Very similar loading times on all 4 platforms, although slightly faster on Xbox Series S.
- On Xbox Series S/X, the amount of leaves on some trees has been reduced compared to PS5 and PC.
- In terms of performance, all platforms offer a satisfactory framerate. A 60fps mode is missing on Series S.
- I am pleasantly surprised with what they have achieved with Xbox Series S. One of the best versions I have seen on this platform.

Yeah I was actually surprised some games make me question the power of the SS I think it's mostly due to a lack of ram even some phones have more ram then the SS like my Sony Xperia 1 IV It has 12gb of DDR5. Thing is, Pc looks the best but windows HDR looks terrible so with SDR your getting a dull picture. I would rater have the xbox series X or S version and get all the benefits of console which is why some people own a console + OLED tv or a high end. Если не ошибаюсь, то на старте в дирт 5 на сХ графика местами была чуть ли не как на 360 коробки и все это якобы происходило "случайно и без рук сони". Гост ранер на коробке досихпор сломан, сХ там не тянет ртх, а на сС съеховший фрейм пейсинг из-за чего в игре фпс 30-40 от силы на вид. Ну и другие игры ещё можно приводить как пример. Вообщем, пока сони платит за урезание версий для сХ, то так и будет продолжаться.

Ps5 gpu is overclocked, so it’s faster, faster compute units, more efficient gpu and the ultra fast ssd boosts performance due to the integrated I/o complexion and ps5 has no bottlenecks.

​@@ArthurMorganII why do you insist on spreading misinformation? The "overclocked" GPU is to compensate for less compute units (CUs), that doesn't mean it runs faster or better. In fact, the resolution is higher on Series X for a lot of games. The PS5 SSD is not that much faster and this is proven with loading speeds where both Series consoles often outperform it. The only thing it has an advantage on is its API which a lot of developers find easier to work with. The only difference here is the amount of vegetation.

PS5 and XSX look pretty much identical with their respective graphics modes, apart from the tree canopy looking way less dense on the Xbox. Hopefully this is just a glitch or oversight by the devs that can be patched.

3.08 shadows are better on ps5. 3.45 the lighting is better on ps5 as the sun reflections coming down there more details in the trees.
