Assuming the information provided is accurate... Regarding Cook Inlet and the Kenai River, it is illogical that Commercial Fishing takes 80% of the resource when they only contribute 20% to the $1 Billion Value. It needs to be the other way around.... 80% of the Salmon should be allowed into the River for Sport and Personal Use. In addition the Commercial (set netters in particular) have decimated the King Salmon fishery on the Kenai. Mismanagement by the AKDF&G for decades catering to Commercial Fishing!
