A bit over 20 years ago I did a stint as a Centrailian tour guide. Weekly trips to the big lump, the big bumps and the big crack. I didn't think I missed ity anymore but you guys have proved me wrong! Glenn you proved that Valley Of The Winds has that name for a reason! Which was funny after watching you channel your inner Peter Garrett by dancing at the Rock! Thanks to your videos I'm back into getting our 69 Baywindow back running and ready to crack back into the bush. See you through the windscreen somewhere!

Every summer gets the spectacular lightning storms in the Uluru Kata Tjuta National park in the Australia’s Northern Territory and what a majestic views of Uluru during the sunset and the lightning storms in the summer months. I love Australia and it is a very beautiful place to visit and the resort stay by Ayers Rock. The resort at Ayers Rock is very beautiful place to stay especially Longitude 131 and Sails in The Desert and hotels in Uluru. Sounds of Silence is so beautiful place to have dinner and watch Ayers Rock sunset with the color changes of the Uluru. This is a magnificent place to be in Australia.🇦🇺

Uluru ❤️ You captured it beautifully, and yes you really need to be there to truly ‘feel ‘it. Such an ancient special magical place. It hit me hard too. 🙏

You have captured the awesome colours and amazing landscape of the spiritual heart of this great land so well! I could almost taste the dust and feel those pesky flys?!? Great choice of music too, it certainly enhanced the ‘spiritual’ feeling which means so much to our indigenous community.

That means so much! We tried our best to capture the feeling of being here. So spiritual! Would be a million times better without those flies though!

Stunning Scenery. I live in Germany and find it utterly boring here, before I lived 14 years in California/Nevada this was amazing the whole Southwest. But wanna visit Australia after seeing this! lol

Make sure you stay at Cactus Beach near Penong amazing saltlakes, surfing and fishing (careful about taking photos of the surf though. Locals don't like places being named). If you are lucky you can make the 400+ kms from the 24hour roadhouses from Port Augusta to Ceduna on one tank of fuel in a VW T3 . But I would be carrying a 20L Jerry Can just in case! (I didn't on the way back and ran out just before Port Augusta and had to roll to the filling station!)

It's definitely on our list that's for sure! We plan to spend a large amount of time properly exploring SA, in particular, catch up on all the surfing we've missed out on the past few months. haha. Thanks for the tips Matt!

@@KendallandGlenn Enjoy yourself and keep sending through the visuals. Local surfers won't like drones so be careful. Amazing coastline .Streaky Bay and Eliston are very photogenic. Its very exposed. had 44C degrees at Cactus in Easter a couple of years back and then Ice on the ground some mornings in september! Look forward to seeing it from your lenses while us Melbournians cant move than 5kms from home!

Matt Ellis thanks Matt! Good to know about the drone too, we’ll be sure to be respectful. It seems like an amazing place, even with all the extreme weather changes! Hope you’re doing well in Melbourne. Fingers crossed it’s all smooth sailing after this 🙏🏼

2005年5月自驾去过艾尔岩,非常震撼。当时可以爬山上去,现在听说不许爬了,好像是土著人的图腾。山下住宿很贵,还想再去。 In May 2005, I drove to Aier Rock, which was very shocking.At that time, you can climb the mountain, but now I hear that it is not allowed to climb, it seems to be the totem of the Australian aborigines.Accommodation down the mountain is really expensive, would like to go again.

Hii, are there any free parks to stay the night close to uluru? Thanks! Any tips on where to find info on places to sleep?
@KendallandGlenn
@KendallandGlenn Жыл бұрын
Hey! We didn’t find any free camps close by as it’s a pretty regulated area. So we stayed at the caravan park closest to the entrance to the national park. You can find places to sleep on the WikiCamps or Campermate apps, they’re super helpful!
