Veronica Butler was in a long-standing custody battle for her children with her mother-in-law, Tiffany Adams, for several years, but in March of 2024, it all came to an end when Tifany orchestrated and carried out her murder. Veronica had been granted supervised visitation with her children once a week, on Saturdays, and on March 30th she and the supervisor, Jilian Kelley, were on their way to pick up the kids when they were diverted down a dirt road and ambushed by Tifany and the rest of her accomplices. A search for the women ensued, and 2 weeks later, their bodies were found buried 10 feet deep in a chest freezer on a rural Oklahoman property. Tifany and her 4 co-conspirators have all been arrested, and each faces 5 charges related to the heinous crimes they committed. All of the defendants were part of an anti-government group called “God’s Misfits” although the cult is not believed to be the motive for the murders…

I am not religious, wasn’t raised religious so I have no ground to stand on when it comes to other people’s beliefs, and I hope what I’m about to say doesn’t come off as offensive - I respect every person’s right to their own beliefs AS LONG as those beliefs aren’t harming anyone else. And my outside perspective of Christianity, on paper at least, is to be a good person. Being a good person means accepting others as they are, and doing no harm to other people, whether those people have the same beliefs as you or not. It always baffles me when people use Christianity as a shield for hatred and harm to other people. If God and Heaven truly are real and if He truly is the way He is described to be, he will be kicking about 30% of his “followers” straight down the firey staircase.

These 2 ladies were from a town about 25 miles from where I live. I did not know them personally but It’s still very surreal having so many mutuals and I think it’s super important to always remember these aren’t just stories but real people and so many people cared about both of them. Just hits different when it’s local and gives you a whole new outlook on the true crime channels. Even just seeing the thumbnail of this case reminds me of my own mom.......since my very first child, she kept telling him "I'm your mommy.....OOPS I mean your grandma" and told me at least 3 times that she wanted to breastfeed him. She tried to force me to sign over my kids to her on the day we had a car accident (with no injuries) and that day she basically told me she wanted my husband and I to die so she could have our kids. Keep in mind, 2 of our 3 are from my previous marriage and had loving grandparents on their dads side AND my mom was/is an awesome grandmother. I have been a supervisor for court ordered supervised visits many times as a social worker. It has become quite dangerous and typically the person supervising has no protection for themselves at all. I have been held at gun point, threatened many times and have been in situations that just quickly became dangerous. Frustrating that better security doesn't exist

She doesn't live with her mother because she is unfit but no matter how unfit she is I could never in a million years put my niece through the trauma of unaliving her mom just because I think I might be better fit. There is currently a missing girl in Gainesville Georgia who has been missing for 5 weeks now. A bunch of tips have been called in but absolutely no sign of her. They believe she could be anywhere from Texas to Maryland. Was allegedly taken right from her driveway in Gainesville. Was wondering if you heard anything about this? It’s pretty big in Georgia but was wondering if you could do/say something about it to get word farther out than Georgia. Love your videos, been watching for years!!

I used to live in the town Hugoton, and Jillian was the wife of the pastor of my church. She was very sweet and she loved her kids. She was constantly hugging up on them. She was a very gentle spirit may she rest with the lord 🤍

That case is the Piketon Massacre. Piketon, Ohio. The Wagner family murdered 8 members of the Rhoden family. The daughter, Hannah Rhoden, had a baby by Jake Wagner. Angela Wagner wanted custody of that baby.

Absolutely disgusting. Reminds me of Taiya Talbot(6)and Tyler Bernard(10)case near Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. Their grandmother, Jane LaMarsh drove her car into a river with her 2 grandchildren and her 12 year old daughter she also tried to kill, who luckily made it out safely. Kendall, I’d love to see you cover that case as well.

They said she had lawyered up and petitioned the court to regain unsupervised visits the following week. Again, I am not a murderer, but if I was on the verge of being forced to send my child back to a parent who let pedophiles around her, I would be out of my mind. Temporary insanity is a defense for a reason. Who knows how desperate and afraid any of us would be in that situation.
