I love mine and have prescription transition. I use it mostly for the AI and audio features. I think it needs to have landscape video to be useful for true vlogging. Cutting off hey Meta will help and cutting off some of the cloud features to reduce the constant drain.

16x9 aspect ratio is the best way

It only shoots in vertical but when you edit your video you can use the video in a horizontal 16x9 format. The footage will be cropped when editing but you can move the image around when editing to create different shots. I’ve done it plenty of times in my videos.

No it doesn't, it automatically stops and you have to press the record button again.

Yes, you can record for 3 minutes. Default is 30 seconds, you can change the video length in the Meta app.

Battery life, and weight. These are some pretty heavy glasses, taking their toll on nose and ears. The fit and finish on the shiny ones aren't stellar either, with sharpness, most notably at the end of the temples, the point end behind the ear. I took a look with a magnifying loupe, and it looks like glue remnants that hasn't been polished down. My matte ones are better in this respect. All in all, nevertheless, pretty impressive tech.
