Tears were streaming down my face all thro this oml. I dont think I would've been that bad if it wasnt an open cascet I would still be crying obviously but just seeing those beautiful people in the caskets is just so sad nobody should ever go thro this. My Nanna passed away in 2019. It all started on July 29. She had fallen and so they called an ambulance. But then the hospital overdosed her and she died at 12:02 AM July 30. Everything else was a blur. She was not able to speak when I went and visited her, but when my uncle came, she actually was able to say hi to him. It’s a very sad situation. I miss her so much. We are never going back to that hospital again because like I said they overdosed my Nanna on morphine and other bullcrap.

An open casket is a blessing for us left behind. Seeing death reminds us of the shortness and the fragility of life. An open casket happens so rarely, now, but it is best if the casket is open throughout the whole funeral Mass. Why not? I think, in the old days, it was done like that.

At the age of 5 1/2, Kendra Keliher was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis (NF1 - Tumors in the Nervous System). Beginning on August 19, 2005, she and her family had to navigate life with a long list of health challenges and surgeries as a result of the NF1. In November 2015, it was discovered that the NF1 had developed into an aggressive cancer (Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumors) that was present throughout her body and spreading rapidly. Kendra participated in a clinical trial program towards the end, as options for treatment were limited. She passed away at home on January 5, 2017, at the age of 16 years old. This was also the evening of her brother James’ birthday. Kendra was taking her last earthly breath while her brother was blowing out the birthday candles representing his 14 years of life. Christ be the light! The life and death connection became ever more clear that evening being reminded of how life is a gift - one that will be returned to our Heavenly Father at the end of the earthly pilgrimage. Kendra’s Cross: The cross was a heavy one and God’s grace was abundant. There were many moments of grace and we learned over the years that God’s grace is what carried her and our family in the midst of the pain. Kendra learned of sacrificial suffering and modeled it during her eleven-year journey. By uniting her emotions and physical pain with that of Jesus, she was able to offer up her suffering in order to help others. It is rare for someone so young to understand what it means to unite suffering with Christ’s suffering. “For I make up in the body what is lacking in Christ’s suffering. (Colossians 1:24)” This did not mean, however, that she didn’t pray for a miracle of healing. She did. Many people prayed for that miracle as well. She wrote about the fact that even though the miracle may not be the one that she wanted - the miracles that happened and are still happening are just as wonderful. The greatest miracle is the resurrection. While the pain of physical death is so real - we know that there are greater things to come in the resurrection of the body - being that it is not merely flesh that existed during this time, however, a soul - as well. The soul never dies. 1 Corinthians 40-44 “There are both heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the brightness of the heavenly is one kind and that of the earthly another. The brightness of the sun is one kind, the brightness of the moon another, and the brightness of the stars another. For star differs from star in brightness. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown corruptible; it is raised incorruptible. It is sown dishonorable; it is raised glorious. It is sown weak; it is raised powerful. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual one.”  Kendra’s Prayer Life: Kendra’s deep prayer life was evident from an early age. She loved children and frequently prayed for the safety of anonymous unborn babies. She also prayed for her siblings. When she was 2 1/2 years old she told us that she wanted her baby brother and that we should go get him. We were unaware at the time that we were expecting her brother, James. When Kendra was about 5 years old, she prayed for a baby sister. When we became aware of this prayer we were concerned. I was concerned because I experienced hyperemesis with each pregnancy, a condition involving severe nausea, vomiting, and weight loss. However, God answered Kendra’s prayer and Elizabeth was born within the year. Kendra’s passion was life! She loved children and had a special love for the unborn. She would pray for them and eventually had one of her dreams come true of attending the March For Life in Washington D.C. on January 22nd, 2015. Kendra was thrilled to be able to attend the March and while there had the opportunity to pray with a group of about 40 others for a woman who was pregnant and contemplating abortion. The woman decided to choose life for her baby! Kendra was so happy and called home to tell us. This was a significant experience in her life because when she was in third grade she was doing all that she was able to give the unborn a voice and pray for their lives. “The so-called right to abortion has portrayed the greatest of gifts-a child-as a competitor, an intrusion, and an inconvenience.” - St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta  Kendra placed a crucifix in one of the holes of her scoliosis brace so that she could look at it while on her bed. Kendra’s Faith: The Lord knows our wants and hears our prayers. Kendra was modeling this for us and we were learning how to recognize the way in which He works. Throughout Kendra’s life, there would be moments when it appeared as though she was reflecting on the weight of the cross while not wallowing in it or indulging in self-pity. Instead, she would connect her pain to Jesus and apply that pain to help others which became a prayer in and of itself. This was particularly true towards the end of her physical life here on earth. St. John Paul II once said “Don’t waste your suffering.” Kendra didn’t waste hers. By suffering well, she was better able to accept the cross and she was able to help it work for the good of others. St Mother Teresa of Calcutta said, “Pain and suffering have come into your life, but remember pain, sorrow, suffering are but the kiss of Jesus - a sign that you have come so close to Him that He can kiss you.” Growing ever closer to Jesus allowed her heart to become one with His while uniting suffering to that of Christ“. We were all so grateful for the time we were given. Funerals are important...indeed, and now we also have the opportunity to go to the cemetery and pray. Life is fragile ~ death is humbling. May we all use the moments we have here on earth to draw ever closer to Christ through the experiences we have that often remind us of our own death that is inevitable, the judgement to come, and where we are going after death: heaven or hell. God is a good and righteous judge along with being a loving father who always wants what is best for us. Eternity with Him in Heaven where we can all be reunited is the goal...if we’re honoring God’s commandments. 🙏

If you believe that a soul lives forever and is with God when they die ~ wouldn’t their soul still have the opportunity to pray? We are more than merely flesh here on earth, correct? And, if you believe Jesus Christ is God (part of the trinity: God-the Father, God, the Son, and God-the Holy Spirit)...I am wondering what you mean when you say there is only one intercessor between God and man ...and that is Jesus Christ. We experienced such peace. God’s grace is abundant when surrendering to His mercy. People are all unique ~ however ~ when we can try and see them through the lens of God ... we will see there is brokenness, pain, and a need for genuine love which is the source for all healing. God is love + Love is God + Love is willing the good of another for the other’s good. @@katez5205 I don't claim any denomination, I'm strictly scripture, I have preached in several Pentecostal churches, and found a few if not most controlled by wolves in sheep's clothing, when Christ mentioned these wolves he was war his shepherds, these wolves in sheep's clothing are members/deacons and some are Sunday school teacher's, these wolves dictate what type of sermons the pastor is to preach on, last church I preached in i was cornered by the deacons and elders of that church, I refused to yield to them, warning them not to stand infront of Gods anointed shepherds which are few, that the pastor is held accountable for every soul that sets foot in that sanctuary not them, unfortunately my church is gone, in my church we were blessed with healing taking place, people coming in and receiving the real Christ of Calavry, the difference between myself and these denominations is im not money based, my deacons were drug addicts saved by Christ and placed by him, the same with my staff, each had gone through the steps to change their lives, each had brought others in, but as I said unfortunately the dealers didn't like losing all of that money, so on a cold winters November night our church went up in flames, with one murder after, to this day these people haven't been arrested, in fact I think the investigation started and ended with me, the FBI never notified or came back, that was 17 years ago, that my story, my testimony is Christ has given me the honor to see him hell those with a breath of faith and take those who have mocked him into their judgement, my step dad was Catholic by faith, he had emphazema he was attached to an oxygen tank, i prayed with him one evening that Christ would free him from this chain, he said he felt better the next morning, he had an MRI, he said as he laid there he could here them talking he thought things had gotten worse, when he visited the doctor,he said that the doctor demanded to know what experiments he was talking and meds, why he asked, then the doctor told him why, that his lungs were as clear as a new bornsn, when my step dad went to his church he Glorified God by standing up in the pew, and warned those around them to turn their backs on the pope and the Vatican created Christ, of course the Vatican excommunicated him, because they couldn't claim the Glory that his healing didn't include mary or their church, 5 years later at the age of 78 he set foot in God's kingdom his idolatry his selfishness and indulgence washed away by the blood of Calavry,

You do know that sometimes people can’t travel to the funeral for various reasons. Being able to attend even if through a KZbin streaming at least allows them to attend and pay respects and grieve.

I know what it is like to lose a loved-one when I was only 9 years old I lost my childhood sweetheart Linda Lee hall to leukemia and I for a long time was so broken hearted but I know that I will see 👀her again one day when the lord calls me home to heaven and eternal life and rest so I know just what this family is going through and may this beautiful young lady rest in peace with God and his angels 😇 and she is taking care of all of us 🇺🇸🙏she's even taking care of my mother Lucille e.merritt and my father Raymond a.merritt and other loved-ones that I have lost she will see 👀all of us again this is assured we will never forget her and we will one day see 👀her again may Kendra rest in peace for it is in the name of the father and of his son and the holy spirit buried in the likeness of his death and raised in the likeness of his resurrection unto eternal life through the grace of our lord and our saviour Jesus christ amen 🙏.

The Eucharist is Christ. Are you really going to attack something you clearly know nothing about. A funeral video is not the place for this.

The Eucharist *is* Jesus. Ppl may not believe this is so, but it is. This is the reason many ppl who are possessed cannot bear to even look at a consecrated Host. It is also the reason Satanists steal them so as to desecrate it. There are witches who can even tell which host is consecrated among a pile of hosts, despite them appearing identical to the physical eye. Catholics celebrate the Holy Eucharist in obedience to the Words of Jesus in scripture.

Our Lord instituted this sacrament Himself at the last supper and of course on the Cross through His Passion. Who dare deny the very words of Christ Himself; "This is My Body....This is My Blood." - Mt 26:26-27, Mk 14:22,24, Lk 22:19-20, 1 Cor 10:24-25

Jesus is now seated at God's right hand. The fact He is seated means the work of redemption is finished. The debt for sin is paid. There is no more sacrifice for sin. You can be saved by putting your trust in Christs death alone because only by the shedding of blood could sin be paid for. Jesus now lives only in the hearts of those who have repented and accepted his sacrifice as their only hope of salvation. He does not live in temples made of gold or stone.
