It's nothing about black or white. There's already proof that Kendrick can do what Em does, but Em cannot do what Kendrick does. Eminem has like 4 modes: slim-shady (clown), serious, fast, paced. That's it. Kendrick has like 20+ modes and he has that soul element. Em can't do the singing shit Kdot does. Kdot is a more diverse artist.

This is just nostalgia talking. You can list all these quotes of lyrics, but you can say the same for Kendrick. Eminem doesn’t have the substance of a Kendrick. Eminem strongest skills is the concepts he uses and his wordplay. He’s an elite wordsmith, but I wouldn’t say he’s a deep lyricist like Kendrick. Eminem I listen to and walk away thinking that was really skillful how he crafted those words for an enjoyable song. Kendrick I listen to and I walk away thinking that was a great song that made me feel something or think about about a situation that you don’t usually hear. I don’t remember felt that from an Eminem album especially the later half of his career. I feel it’s harder to do what Kendrick rap about because the standard of addressing that compared to Eminem’s concepts is way higher.

This is a great conversation!! Thank you for this. I grew up listening to Kdots albums throughout highschool. My freshman year of college I went to music festival that was Headlined by Eminem and we all left that weekend being BLOWN AWAY by eminem. I went and listened to his first 3 albums that summer and the Eminem Show is S TIER. MMLP is also up there. The beats and the flows on that album is insane. The fact that kendrick is up there for debate, shows how good he is.
