Lil Wayne concert was cool but not better than Kendrick’s pop out concert!

He isn't being disrespectful in speaking his truth. Come on bra you been around long enough to know why Jay Z did what he did. The battle took over and if it hadn't happened Wayne should be the one doing the Superbowl. That's not a con bra and how can another man's feelings get to you.
@MagoozReviews3 ай бұрын
I said that in the video. If the battle didn’t happen Wayne headlines the Super Bowl but it did. If Drake would have won the battle he would be headlining but he got dog walked. The battle took over the industry but this sense of entitlement to say they took it from me when the other man earned it is crazy. Overall the show was good I loved seeing the hot boys reunion and Wayne has one of the best catalogues in hip hop and is a goat. That moment though was weak. Give the man his props and respect because he has always shown you that throughout his career.

@@MagoozReviewsI don't know what you're missing. He doesn't have to give Kendrick ever anything. It's not about him. This is about his truth from the fact that he's been in talks w/ them to headline the 2025 super bowl and then they sideswipe him in the middle of a deal/negotiation and come out in say Kendrick was performing. That's BS! Never in the history of of the super bowl has it been about "who had the most commercial successful year" (all around) If that's the case, it's definitely not Kendrick 😂
@MagoozReviews3 ай бұрын
Yes Wayne was on the list of candidates for the Super Bowl. Like I said in my video if the battle doesn’t happen he headlines it. Kendrick has had a very big year the only other rapper to have just as big of a year is Future but we know because of his catalogue he can’t headline a Super Bowl. Another thing this speaking your truth doesn’t mean your truth IS the truth. Wayne is great we know that but taking away from another man’s shine when he EARNED it is wrong.

@@P.F-p5m Wayne was not the only candidate in consideration for the Superbowl headliner and he failed to improve on his artistry, he told us this already in his first whining sob video but you just choose to not believe him. Wayne had a great concert and is a GOAT however he is definitely not Superbowl worthy and the performance proved this. JayZ and the SB are a business and to expect corporations to fall behind Wayne's sympathy campaign is beyond entitlement and delusion, they dont owe Wayne anything. The fandom along with Wayne conveniently "forget" to mention the over 14million dollars taxes JayZ paid for Wayne whenever they don't get their way, again entitlement. Kendrick is the best representative of the Hiphop culture and will make us proud as he always has. Heartfelt congradulations to you Kendrick and GOD bless ❤️

There was a conversation that wayne had with Jay Z about the Super Bowl and Cash Money had planned a big weekend so when he heard he wasn’t performing he was upset

I thought about this last night with everything surrounding this halftime show I think the numbers for the show will be big. I’ve heard different stories about what happened behind the scenes. Now that I think on it I think the numbers are going to be crazy because of everything surrounding this.

Thats not true, apparently Kendrick was coming off of the highest-grossing headline tour of all time by a rap artist coming into 2024, critically acclaimed worldwide and filmed by Amazon Music for streaming and all sorts. He was most likely asked prior to the battle based on that as artists are often booked a year in advance based on their success/buzz (e.g. Usher and his vegas residency). Luv Lil Wayne but his story now keeps changing, he was prob told “if he does enough…” as he originally told us which when it came to choosing around Feb/Mar (year in advance) he clearly hadn’t in comparison to those credentials. Also the sound at the beginning of 6:16 does in fact sound a lot like the sound in Kendrick’s nfl commercial which would support the theory that he was booked pre battle but hey, who knows for certain. And even if it wasn’t a year in advance with the battle incl Lil Wayne for sure wouldn’t have done enough in the run up to their picking an artist to get the position in which case he should be crying to Drake & Jcole for getting dot mad thus kicking off a battle that even more overshadowed his efforts as opposed to blaming Jayz lol

Great point. The Mr. Morale tour was very successful I think people forget how successful it was. Another great point was the 6:16 in La opening I completely forgot about that. That was a very clever move on his part to put that in the song.

Wayne told us he did not get the Superbowl because he needs to do more work let us know why he did not get to headline and promised to improve. He doesn't congratulate Kendrick, still continues on this entitlement rant saying it was snatched from him? Wayne is going out sad, a GOAT whining and ranting over the Superbowl was not on my 2024 Bingo card for sure, pathetic sympathy play. May Kendrick give his best performance and do what he does best ❤

Yeah and I liked the show I thought it was good. Seeing the Hot Boys reunite and Wayne going through his catalogue was dope. Like you said that moment I wasn’t feeling though. Kendrick earned that spot so nothing was snatched away from Wayne. With all of the uproar from people over the announcement of him headlining I think he’s going to give a memorable performance. I love Wayne but Kendrick has always shown you respect and to not give him the same in return I don’t like that.

He was definitely being disrespectful. I love Wayne but he was NEVER offered the halftime show. And Wayne is wild because Jay helped him pay $14+ million for Wayne’s back taxes. It was giving child with a tantrum. Instead of congratulating K. Dot, he let people say he was snubbed…I heard crickets when Beyoncé performed the halftime show in New Orleans back in 2013. A 30 y/o Wayne would have been great! 40 y/o Wayne doesn’t hit the same. He can’t carry a stadium performance like the SB. Concerts? ABSOLUTELY.

Oh ok I didn’t know that. I liked the show overall. His set list was good but seeing the Hot Boys together was definitely the highlight of the night.

nobody say nuttin about Kendrrick he only say what he say about the halftime not being him … he would say the same thing if they go with madonna so stop it with the he disrepected kendrick dude didnt even say his name
@MagoozReviews2 ай бұрын
Wayne is one of my favorites but he is dragging this. First he said it wasn’t offered to him so he can’t get mad about it, then he says it was ripped away from me. That’s where the confusion comes from because which one is it? The Madonna angle doesn’t work in this case because Kendrick and Wayne have a relationship. Kendrick has always talked about how much he loves and admires Wayne his whole career and we have seen them collab before. So even if he’s hurt about it you give him the proper respect he has always shown you.

u dont get it …. this aint got nuttin to do wit kendrick he mad they didnt pick him thats it im sure its cool wit kendrick or maybe not cause of drake my point is they could give it to who ever he still be mad about it cause they (Roc Nation suppose to be friends) didnt pick him plus in new orleans no one say shit when dr dre,snoop even kendrink was in L.A
@MagoozReviews2 ай бұрын
Nah I get it What I’m saying is Wayne is dragging this. You didn’t get picked we understand you put the video out but you saying one thing in the video and saying something different on stage so which is it? You can be mad all you want but sportsmanship is you didn’t get the dub but you still dap the man up who did and keep it pushing. That’s how men handle things. The Super Bowl been in New Orleans before and he never put up this much fight especially when it was held there last time bro was more so in his prime and just came off the Carter 4 two years before. Another thing is you think Jay-Z isn’t taking account of this? From Nicki crashing out calling him out, Birdman, and Wayne going on about this could make his chances harder to ever headline a Super Bowl with Jay there. That’s the part no one is talking about moves like this can hurt your future chances to headline.

You have to stop, his response has nothing to do with kendrick

The concert was good overall I enjoyed it except that part. He didn’t get it we understand but going on about this is making the situation worse. My main issue is since Kendrick got the halftime show it was dumped on. Wayne is a legend but Kendrick had the biggest year for any rapper. He has shown you nothing but respect over his career give bro that respect he gives you because this is his moment. Let him have his moment. That’s how men move. Yeah your hurt from not getting it but like he said in the video I’m going to come back stronger than before. Continuing to go back at the issue doesn’t put it out just makes it worse.

I’m sorry but I may be the only one who thinks that all Lil Wayne’s albums after lights out has been 👎🏾 wack (my opinion ) the squad up mixtapes where ok but the Carter series and the rock albums was not it.

Yeah the squad up mixtapes are good. I enjoy the Carter albums but i understand everyone wasn’t really feeling all of them. I agree the rock albums though I don’t like at all. I appreciate the comment.
