What if taking that parking spot was a metaphor for Kdot taking the #1 spot. That’s why he had no remorse for it. But despite being #1, he realized his own demons was his worst enemy. Hence, the introspective album Mr Morale.
@skyclubentjamieson86529 ай бұрын
That’s exactly what I think. I think the woman represents hiphop culture. In the beginning the women says that kdot still has time and she welcomes him back into the therapy session where he left off( in the spotlight). While kdot expresses himself, the woman’s face expresses tells us that she’s uncomfortable with it and doesn’t know how to receive it (same way people looked at this album ironically). By the end of the song she is sad and looking down. Kendrick turns back to the piano, understanding that the culture is not ready for what he is experiencing and he chooses to heal himself rather than sacrifice himself for the “culture”. The angel that hugs kdot at the end of the video is his younger self forgiving kdot. A quote we heard throughout the second half of the album is “I choose me”

The real story of Kendrick is how he continues to reinvent himself as a person and as an artist. It's like he's studied the rise and fall of every rapper before him and is making sure to never make those same mistakes, which is culminating in the amazing art we receive from him, and his near impenetrable reputation despite him coming out with such records like MMBS where he comes to grips with all of his own trauma, sex addition, and other internal struggles. He gets ahead of all of his problems in the public eye, and there's no angle to take against him. If you dislike him, you're strictly seen as a hater by listeners. At the height of his career, Kanye began going off the rails, and at the height of Kendrick's career, he's taking steps to fix himself before there was opportunity for ruination.

I would argue Kendrick isn’t a monster, but the most human a person can be. And that’s why everyone is afraid of him. Kendrick has done, seen and experienced traumatizing and terrifying things in his life and rather than scapegoating them as an excuse for why he should go out there and be a terror and a menace to society, effectively numbing himself away from the pain and scars of his experiences in the process, he faces them and stares them straight in the eyes and goes to war with them in order to claim his soul back. Do you have any idea how hard that is to accomplish? Do you know what it takes to dive into the deepest valleys of your psyche to find the real monsters that reside within and attempt to control them, how scary that can be? And what’s more is that he not only triumphs over his demons every single time, but he then also puts it all on wax and puts himself in a vulnerable position where the public is allowed to not only listen to and relive his experiences through his music, but are also free to judge him and possibly even cancel him. But we don’t. Because those of us who wish to understand, we understand how important this is and we gain an ally in Kendrick and his music, his art, that we can call upon in our own battles through life. I can’t think of anything more exceptionally human than that. He’s not a monster. The monsters are within himself and he’s gone to war with them and won, and now he controls them. So you tell me, how are you going to defeat a righteous man who’s defeated all of his demons?

@@DesignzRUsexactly he lost cause he got exposed which is the point of diss tracks. Why you think back to back is so hyped? That song is dog shit but since it exposed meek and what Drake said was true and it being Drake, the song blew up way more than it should.
