Yeah but the 008 Pyunma(the black member of the group) was drawn so obscenely racist that this movie is probably the first time that he has been animated respectfully. Even the tv series from the 2000s still had elements of racist caricature with the way he was drawn.

I liked this a lot since it has the team coming back together mostly after lives apart to tackle something new since it's obvious their lore has been seeded from what we already know.The topic is thought provoking and daring to world concepts of it. Not only that but a darn good political thriller to boot/re boot.

I do not get the negative comments about the film, is it an overly ambitious attempt to describe a larger than life itself point or issue?. Probably, the characters are all over the place, but they all play a role in the story line. I LOVED THE VISUALS. I even cried at the end a bit. The religion angle is very well handled, the final screen shots from the Moon to Earth are BREATHTAKING. Specially the Angel Fossil on the Moon in the final shot.

I must admit I was particularly astonished by the voice acto-... oh wait. The trailer is quite nice, showcases good segments of the film without spoiling anything, but it would have been nice to have voice if even at the key scene (3:14). Trust me guys when I say that the film is much better than it seems, for a good idea of what to expect, read up on the synopsis online ~

Brian O'Connell, you missed the whole point of the film. HE SAVED THE WORLD, AND ASKED GOD for the reasons of the need top destroy the world anew. Is a symbolic Space Crucifixion, sort off. The whole film is centered around his personal journey as a character, alone with the rest of the plot building up to that moment. .
