Thanks for the video. I searched and found it. My wife accidently ran over a spool of sewing thread. The brush roller unwound the spool and sucked that up pretty quick. It got between the end of the roller and the metal cap where the bearing is and seized the roller up tight. I played your video and followed along to get that apart and was able to clear out all the thread and reassemble. Works fine now. Nice job.

Great video, I am glad I found your video. I am trying to replace the power cord, should not be too hard, or so I thought... Since I discovered the lower hose is cracked too, I will wait until that part is in before I finish taking the vacuum head apart. I would just replace the vaccuum but it was very expensive and we like the performance. I certainly hope I can get it all back together and that I don't have very many left over screws. Update: I did get the hose and was able to install it and the power cord without too much extra effort but only because of this Teardown video and the subsequent Reassembly video, Thank you for the detailed videos. I did not have any extra parts when I was finished and the vacuum works very well.

Hey I doubt you’ll see this, but I have one that I got for $15. The switch on the top has only activated the brush roll, the suction motor will not turn on. I took the switches apart and operated them manual inside the handle and it still doesn’t turn the suction motor on. Have you heard/seen of this problem before? I can’t imagine why this is happening unless the motor burned out. All the wiring looks fine.

The brushes have worn down on mine, otherwise it has been a great vacuum. Prices I found nowadays for the part, KC92SDWFZ000, are more than the vacuum cost to begin with. I see some replacements listed here and there that don't have the wires, I wonder if those just feed through, or if they serve a purpose in the middle of that beater bar.

That's what so great about science done properly. Results don't care about opinions. That's why I started my channel back in May of 2017. For most (but not all) HEPA exhaust filters, you can wash and dry them without any appreciable measurable difference. A great example is Rainbow exhaust filters. Made a video years back proving so.
