Yep. I thought the same thing about the power too. Cool. This video will be awesome for those not mechanically inclined and just looking into how hard it might be to do. Nice.

Thank You! I forgot how to disassemble the head, since its been 20 years or so since the belt broke last time! And the Model number, Bulb number and the Belt number are all on the underside! Easy

Yes a great video - I have a request.. in the same vein - the typical Central vac Hose - that has the multiple connections embedded in the hose casing .. and how it commonly get's stretched or broken and one has to 'shimmy' the hose down and then re-connect the terminals to the band at the connection point .. it's one of those 'planned obsolecense' things as just sitting there I Can think of so many things they could have done in engineering to NOT have this break down..the most critical point of the Central vac - I also hear that hose is very expensive to replace.

Never have had that happen. My central vac is 22 years old no trouble.

@@12voltvids yes of course your product is the exception but just talk to any Central vac hose repair person .. very common issue. :)

@@SPINNINGMYWHEELS777 much has to do with use and abuse. People step on the hose while using ect.
