Senator John N Kennedy has voted hand in hand w Biden & the Democrats. $7 Billion dollars in aid to Afghan illegals in the U.S., & $40 Billion dollars in aid to the Ukraine. Co-wrote bills giving Big-Tech more power to censor. Buddies w David Vitter, lobbyist for the CCP, was Key in getting Vitter’s wife appointed to the 6th Circuit Court. A former Mississippi Democrat….Kennedy still is arm in arm w the Democrats. Oh…and he has NOT stood w Trump in any of the Democrat initiated shenanigans, instead turned his back on him.

He could have said so much more; "why did we destroy our domestic energy independence before we had an alternative in place?" "We both like nuclear energy; do you know how long it takes to get a nuclear plant operating from conception to full operational status?" "You say we need to decarbonize; what do you plan when there isn't enough wind or its too cloudy or when these fragile systems break down?" "I believe in climate change. I believe the earth's climate has been changing since it was created/evolved 4 billion years ago. I think it is insane to say 200 years of human industrial efforts are now going to bring an end to life on the planet as we know it". "Right now, as we go around the world asking for oil, how long could we fight a major war, say in Taiwan, one that requires massive naval and air efforts, and supply capabilities to these areas of combat?" Instead he goes right down the middle. I like Senator Kennedy very much but there is no compromise with these people.

exactly, they could have kept the domestic energy independence intact and taxed it 40%, used that money to build out a reliable alternative source/s of clean energy. Literally everything would have been cheaper than it is today (i.e. food, production, energy, transportation, energy...etc, etc,...)

@jeffjackson96792 жыл бұрын
Also, many of these "green" things are not carbon neutral by a long shot. I used to work at a polysilicon plant (HSC) that made the poly for solar panels, it would blow your mind the amount of energy needed to make this product. The batteries that go into electric cars are another example, the strip mining done to make the metals that go into these batteries do "wonders" for the environment. Plus, these products all have a shelf life, who have to trash them, and start all over again.

@jameslastrapes1122 жыл бұрын
You also have to take into consideration EVERYTHING that is created by oil. It is estimated that currently more than 6,000 products are made from oil and gas. Clothing is just one part of our lives in which oil and gas plays a part. In fact, there are literally thousands of products made from oil and gas, many of which you probably use every day. Hope all women are comfortable not having cosmetics anymore. Fiona Chan, founder of Youthforia, says, “Most cosmetics are made with fossil fuels or petrochemicals not because it has to be that way, but because most synthetic chemicals that are on the market are made from fossil fuels.” Good luck getting cosmetics to not use relatively cheep synthetic chemicals made from fossil fuels. It must be wonderful for Granholm in this imaginary world she lives in you can't just end the use of fossil fuels it has to be gradually done and at the very least there needs to be some kind of replacement in place before you cut off the use of fossil fuels.

Well, what’s happening now is my energy costs are greatly going up and the explanations are for their investments in wind and solar. Gas for vehicles, more corn that is about 10 cents cheaper a gallon, but it’s not good for engines and it has less power. Nuclear power, why not for all. Same as geothermal, hydroelectric. Presently, this Administration is too worried about the Green policymakers and it won’t happen.

She thinks that there are batteries that can store enough power to supplement the grid in any fashion tells me she has no idea what’s going on in real life. They can’t build a home battery that will store any amount of readily available energy how does she think they will be able to build one that is big enough or have the ability to contain the amount of energy in any part of the grid today. Policy should be based of technology that is available, not what you dream of. Energy can’t be stored at this time, it must be generated continually to run the grid and be there for use, the most technologically advanced person on the realm of batteries and storage, Elon Musk has stated flat out that fossil fuels must be used as they aren’t close to anything that she is describing….do you think Musk would make this statement that isn’t in his best interests for fun….of course Biden and every Dept he controls, sorry, whoever is controlling Biden and running the country, hates fossil fuels as they allow freedom and that’s something that has to go. Don’t expect any fossil fuels increase while Biden and controller are in the White House, he can say he wants exports for Europe all he wants, but if they can’t extract it, get it to a storage facility, pump it to tankers for transport, his words have no meaning….they can’t build or even run current pipelines with the new rules Kennedy was talking about, the next two years are going to be rough…

They could have kept the old way of doing business, taxed unclean energy 30% and used that 30% to build out all the new clean energy business.
