I will share; when our daughter called home from grad school and said, "I am really serious with my boyfriend", "Great dear where is he from?", "Oh, he is Iranian" - I had a moment of silence. As soon as we met him we thought - good job, great guy. We love his family and it has been fun learning about their culture, adds so much to our whole family! Sincerely - just American.
