I recently added Oscar Goldman to my Six Million Dollar Man collection and strangely enough he’s slowly becoming my favorite figure. I still need to get Bigfoot and a Fembot.

I remember seeing Richard Anderson on a celebrity quiz show in the late 70's discussing this doll. He couldn't believe that an Oscar Goldman doll was ever made!

Palitoy, thanks again for another wonderful commercial. I still have my large Bionic collection, and Oscar with his exploding briefcase has always been one of my favorites.

I recently found Oscar still in the box ...never played with or ever removed from box. I also found Steve Austin as well brand new in box. I wonder how much these are worth? These were such well made toys. And fun to play with.

Wow. Where did you find this? I'm the third kid who comes in at the end. I hunted around for this a while back, but couldn't find it anywhere. I remember we filmed this commercial in Florida.

Andy: That's Oscar Goldman. Cal: Why do you have that? Andy: That's worth a lot of money. That's much more valuable than Steve Austin.

This is when toys were cool. Could you imagine a toy company marketing an exploding brief case today ?

Ha! That's so cute! I love it! the coolest thing, I think, is the little file folder that says "Steve Austin TOP SECRET".

I had that. It was awesome. I remember the briefcase glitched in some way and my dad fixed it. That thing rocked. On a side note, I just found my SMDM wristwach, still keeping good time after all these years.

My brother had the “6 million dollar man” action figure. I got “Oscar Goldman”. Brother grew up to be an Army Ranger and FBI Agent. I became a Jewish accountant. Strange part, we’re not even Jewish.

didn't remember this existed nor the Mission Vehicle. I had Steve Austin, Maskatron, Big Foot and the Repair Station. I thought I had the whole six-million dollar collection! I got jipped! Actually, I probably begged my parents what I would get for Christmas and Oscar Goldman with a briefcase was not a convincing argument no matter how much I cried.

I had Oscar, Steve and Maskatron. Maskatron came with three faces, one that looked like Steve one like Oscar and a third that was random guy. I still have Steve and I think the rocket ship. I vividly remember assassinating my bigfoot doll with a bb rifle.
@silntdoogood15 жыл бұрын
could you imagine if they sold a toy now that came with a briefcase bomb?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
@cha517 жыл бұрын
I used to have Steve and Oscar, Maskatron, Plus that briefcase, The rocket that became an operating table, Secret headquarters, Multiple bionic arms, Bigfoot, Everything SMDM related that I could get my folks to buy back then.

Our toys were the best. It was before the safety police outlawed everything fun.

The Steve Austin fig is still one of the most high quality sculpts of an actor for a toy. I think the sculptor does Civil War bronzes now and doesn't answer correspondence about working for Kenner.

Indeed. That "Rose-colored glasses" thing is all bunk. Our generation was Root Beer colored.

I had this when I was a kid. I also had most of the Star Wars figurines and cards. This was in the late seventies. Man, I wish I hadn't lost all of that and ruined the cards by using them in my bike spokes.

Those guys behind Kenner creating all those six million dollar man toys, figures , accessories etc…. We’re very smart and talented. My hola is to have everything in that toy line for display and boxed. Todays toy makers are no smarter than a deer in headlights .
