I am so thankful that I found your ministry! About 10 years ago, I was trying to work my way through my healing of a disorder that was "ending my life". My church at the time was a Word Of Faith church that told me that I was "already healed". I just had to believe enough, pray enough and be healed. Absolutely lovely people but I renounced my faith for the first time in my life. Healing didn't happen for me. BUT after a few years, I called out and said "Lord, if it isn't your Will that I will be healed in my lifetime, please help me see Your Way and Truth about this ". You have been such a blessing for me now that I understand how healing does/doesn't work. I am endlessly thankful for my increasing understanding of God's Word now.

I'm still processing that Copeland said with a straight face that in the case of his pacemaker he was already "behind the curve" for God's power to heal his heart independently. He essentially limited God's healing power to a certain "infirmity threshold" dismissing the truth that the living God is omnipotent and can raise the dead! What's saddest for me is that Copeland understands how crazy that sounds but knows his faithful followers aren't going to question or test ANYTHING he states--even against their own common sense.

He and Gloria were in a traffic accident in the 60s, which, as Kenneth relates, Gloria's head hit the metal dashboard and caved it in. She had problems off and on ever since, and later found out that she had a severe brain trauma. He didn't say "when" she was diagnosed with it, but knowing how hard she hit the dashboard with her head, she must've been diagnosed many years ago. Throughout his preaching career, Copeland has maintained (even recently) that they walk in divine health. They were lying all along. How can a Christian lie to millions of people for multiple decades? I have caught him in other lies on his sit down chats with Jesse DuPlantis and others, as well as on other occasions. His false tongues and false prophecies galore are bad enough apart from his obvious demonic doctrines. His doctrine about Jesus having died spiritually on the cross, suffered in hell for our sins, and was born-again in hell, was my favorite teaching of his when I used to follow him. It is pure blasphemy, and robs the gospel of what Paul called the "offense" of the cross. Because Copeland says Jesus suffered for our sins in hell, not on the cross. But the entire Bible, both Old and New Testaments says otherwise. Copeland said he got this revelation while reading his Bible one day. No, he didn't. That was a lie. He got it from E. W. Kenyon's writings who died in 1948. I had Kenyon's books. Kenyon was the grandfather of the Word of Faith. Hagin, Copeland's mentor, plagiarized Kenyon's writings in many of his booklets. If you would like to know more about the lies of the Word of Faith teachers, look on AbeBooks (online discount bookstore) for the book that led me out of the Word of Faith called "A Different Gospel" by D. R. McConnell. He was an Oral Roberts University graduate, whose graduating thesis exposed the heresies and origin of the Word of Faith. There's also many videos on many KZbin ministries that expose their lies. The gist of this comment is, Kenneth Copeland is far more evil than you can imagine. A smidgen of that evil exploded on that female Inside Edition reporter in the clip where he is pointing his finger at her in anger. Also read Ezekiel chapter 8, which gives a bird's eye view of what goes on behind the scenes among the upper echelon. If you still want to pray for Kenneth, please pray much more for God's children whom Kenneth has led astray from the truth, that He will deliver them. God bless you.

I saw the Copelands for the charlatans that they are after attending the Chattanooga Victory Campaign (the shorter three day meetings) in 1995. I walked the main floor during Gloria's healing school and saw all the aged parents with their middle-aged children having the worst, debilitating forms of Justin's condition or other conditions like it. The desperation on some of these parents and the fact that these people were essentially being kept from the "woman of God-uh!" to lay hands on them, opened my eyes. I followed his teaching for many years. It's all I knew from about 15 years old. I wasn't properly discipled when I first came to Christ at 13. I learnt everything from watching KC on Tv. We used to get up early on Sunday morning just to watch his content. Then we taped it and would watch it over and over. My brothers and I became "Word of Faith" men. We could quote scriptures left right and centre and people were intimidated by how much scripture I knew. I consumed everything that my brothers brought from Copeland's ministry because compared to what we were hearing on Sunday morning at our local church what KC was teaching seemed way better and more biblical to us. And it was a gospel of self improvement and prosperity. We could be healthy wealthy and have abundance. Thank God by His grace He delivered me from that nonsense. I feel sorry for those still deceived by his ministry and others that teach like him. But they are as deceived as I was. Probably Not properly trained and discipled in the fundamental doctrines of the faith by their local church. We were ripe to be taken in by the lure of preachers that could tickle the ears of idolatry.

It was the only way I knew and taught. There's a particular hermeneutic in use by those in WOF movement even though when I was in it I had no idea even how to spell hermeneutics. We are subconsciously taught a particular way to read the Bible. It's not predicated on a grammatical and redemptive historical, Christological gospel-centric hermeneutic, but it's a egotistical, self serving narcissistic type hermeneutic. But now that I'm out of the WOF movement, I realise how much this particular deception has infiltrated the church. I hear it and see it everywhere. It's probably in more mainstream Christian churches than it isn't especially hear in Australia (even though they might be against the so-called "prosperity gospel" , much of everything else is still taught from WOF teachings). I've seen many pastors preach a version of this rubbish in many churches. Even not so recently at the Reformed church I attend a retired pastor was graciously invited to help us on the Lords Day and minister to us an exposition of Gods word. Unfortunately he was able to twist the word of God and feed us some Kenosis heresy on the side. I wrote an 8 page email to church council asking how this could even happen. So even my own church steeped in Reformed theology had an issue with an element of this deception trying to lure the sheep and had unfortunately infected a retired pastor in our own denomination. Mind boggling!. By Gods grace there were enough guys with sound biblical knowledge to spot the problem and help sort out the issue. I ate and slept WOF teaching for 30 years so I have a very sensitive ears that can pick up this stuff when I hear it. Most people wouldn't even know what they heard was dowsed in this heresy because they aren't familiar with nuance of the deception. Im almost certain that most people that watched this video in utter disgust or disbelief, wouldn't know if their own pastor is preaching a lite version of this same rubbish in their own church.

I was in the same boat. Unfortunately, false teachers like Copeland, Duplantis, Meyer, etc are the most displayed "pastors" so when new believers try to find godly wisdom and teachings, this is all they find. Lead many astray.

I was 18 when I was introduced to the Gospel. Unfortunately, I was immediately thrust into the heresy of Kenneth Copeland. Thankfully, 18 months later, I was delivered from that bondage. I now sit under solid teaching from the likes of John MacArthur, Steve Lawson, Paul Washer, etc. I thank God for His mercy on me when I was treating Him with contempt as a word-faith pupil. I thank God for getting me out of that garbage and directing me to teachers of sound doctrine. Justin, thank you for exposing the heretics. So many are deceived, and we must warn them and try to steer them clear of the damnable teachings of Kenneth Copeland and alike.

People like Copeland played a big roll in my decision to leave the faith. My daughter was born with a kidney defect and the charismatic Christians that I worked with were trying to blame the illness on me. God was punishing me for my sin. I was young and a young Christian at the time. I didn't want to be associated with a God that would punish a child because of something someone else did. If there is a hell that's where I'm going. My disdain for compassionless christianity will be one of the things that wins me a ticket on the southbound express. Thank you for your videos pastor.. They have helped me realize that I wasn't crazy. I was just misslead. May your God bless you for being brave enough to speak the truth about the pit of vipers that is the Word of Faith movement. When I was in prison, I was going through some spiritual warfare. I had a friend who was really into the charismatic movement. He watched Benny Henn and Kenneth Copeland on a regular basis. I look back on that time after many years of walking with God and learning and I can see much more clearly how his doctrinal imput into some of my battles made it worse and created more confusion.That's not to take away from the fact that this friend was still a great encouragement to me, just his willingness to listen and pray with me and that he was sincere in his love for me as a brother in Christ. That much I never doubted, but I did always have this sense - discernement - that those word faith teachings didn't add up. In fact one of the major lessons that I learned was to let go and simply let God be God and let His plan unfold as He willed. Ironically my friend was used in that lesson that the same time. My point is that this word faith doctrine once it gets in your system even just a little bit can create insurmountable confusion and frustration.
