I lost my wife of many years to cancer. As I was by her side day and night for the last 6 months of her life I watched her life slowly drift away until she was gone. Before she became ill, I was always too busy to pay attention to the little things about her, very comfortable with the love she bestowed on me as we went through our lives together. I thank God that I stopped everything and stayed focused on her in the end, ensuring nothing was left unsaid. I asked her await my arrival at whatever place we end up after life here. I will search for her until we are reunited Thanks Kenny Loggins, for this beautiful masterpiece of a song that describes my situation so precisely.

Kenny's catalog of music is so under appreciated in my opinion. Truly the best voice in music by one of the greatest of our time. I was at a concert with 20 year olds sitting behind me--and they did not know him or his music. When he began to sing, they were so impressed, they just continually kept saying wow & how good he is. From Ballads to Blues to Rock & Yacht Soft Rock, to now Country, his talent spans all genre. Amazing.

Don't be surprised ok, it's true I don't usually do this. But the pandemic has really tore everything apart leaving lots of people depressed and sad. That's why am pasting my personal email address here via: kennyloggins00125@gmail.com to enable you share your opinions about my songs or send personal message you wish to share with me. I can't still appreciate everyone of you enough for the unconditional love and massive supports ❤️ it's because of you am here today. I hope you won't stop listening and supporting my songs.

I know how it feels to be here and listen to love or romantic music and believe you love and enjoying it too so do i , well am highly relaxed and very open. Life is to enjoy, laugh, love, communicate and have a connection with someone special who has a zest for life and all things in it. I like to be active and I tend to find the humor in life. It’s my feeling that people need adventure, laughter and passion music has really give me the hope I needed and I believe i will find myself someone who’s going to love me unconditionally …. Would you like us to be friends and talk more about us ?

Mr. Loggins has/had the BALLS to keep his videos up regardless of crazy comments from assholes. Thank you! So many artists of the past 20-30 years decided to leave "No Comment" as an option. This beautiful song was a sweet/important part of my life. I only wanted to say "Thank You". Glad that I can on this channel.

I'd like to think that they pushed the "thumbs down" by mistake. While this song isn't on my list of Top 10 greatest songs of all time, it does showcase why I think that Kenny Loggins is the best male vocalist of all time. He just blows me away, and when I saw him years ago at the Hollywood Bowl, it was the most enjoyable concert that I've ever been to. He put this much energy and passion into the show, and he really does sound like this live. It is absolutely amazing and truly mind numbing.

Dang, Kenny!! You can sing this song, sell it, and own it, all at once! And that last note always chokes me up. You've always been my favorite singer, and I'm glad you're still out there singing (I saw you at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle a few years ago), You can still sing it, too! Thanks for everything!

I loved this song as a teen. When I reflect, as a much older adult (55)--- It reminds me of: Friends lost recently to disease/old age. LI in the late 80's/early 90's. Telephones, when people called, IF they had something to say. Lost loves/idealized versions of love, and angels who have passed. So much more too:)

It has been stated online this was about Kenny's relationship with his father and his inability to be by his side as much as he wanted. Wonder if it means more and hope today the things posted help someone to understand I am sorry. I was wrong and the cause of my daughter's passing was complicated and she chose to save what was most precious to her. Happy and sad to say the thing you prevented is no more forever more. She was suffering from sad influences not of my doing to from time before she was four. Her being gone is great loss in many ways. I shall always cherish the memory of such an unselfish child. Because the B and the C are the same thing she prevented from destroying planet earth. It is up to humanity to make it less important or suffer the consequences. I am unafraid and know what those two capital letters represent.
