Those of you that are reading us my dad passed away last month. This song will always be our father and son song. My father took me to see this movie with him as a child. My parents were just freshly divorced at that time. This movie was a beautiful story between a father and son. My dad loved this movie. Well, I agree this is one of the many feel good movies. The father and son bonding, the death of the mother and the rich vindicative grandfather trying to tear them apart. The father's willingness to sacrifice his own happiness to protect his son and the son discovering his grandfather's treachery and then chasing after his dad. Then the dad overcame his own insecurities and kicking ass. And then taking the prize money and his son and starting their life together. This is a movie that every father and son needs to watch together and especially listening to Kenny Loggins song 'Meet me Halfway'
