Shanice is living proof that the best and most talented vocalists and musicians are not always the most successful. Thisperformance alone should prove to anyone and everyone that Shanice Wilson is one of the best singers in the world. Her vocal skills are much better than much more successful singers such as Rihanna and Beyonce.

Exactly and they should have allowed her to sing this song ALONE. She is far better than Kenny. No, I don't dislike the guy he is just overrated. His voice is weak. He cannot hit most notes. This performance has what are possibly the richest harmonies that Kenny Loggins has ever written. The vocal interplay between Kenny and Shanice--and then briefly between Shanice and Mark Russo (on sax!)--are impeccable, making this a surprising upgrade of what is already a masterful 1985 original. All of Kenny's recorded duets are unforgettable, but this one with Shanice is unsurpassed.

At 2:56, Shanice does a seamless segue into Mark Russo's sax. Completely underrated.

Shanice........ um um um........!!!!!!! Beautiful woman, beautiful voice, beautiful person if you're lucky enough to meet her in person. The subtle shyness vibe about her is real.

This is the best version of this song. Kenny and Shanice nailed it. However, I cannot remember the saxophonist name. The sax marries Shanice's voice.

@@clarkdoug12 Actually David sanborn is on the original cut. I have no idea who the gentlemen on this performance is but he's good. George Howard does a great rendition of this though❤👏🏾💪🏾🎷🎶

no, the SAX player is MARC Russo; he used to play with the YELLOWJACKETS; and he's on the RECORDED version, too; not David Sanborn....
