Had 5th row tickets in Springfield IL on September 15th for Kenny Wayne, they tore it up!!! Im a huge Stevie Ray Vaughn fan and Chris Layton was playing drums at that show as well, it was unbelievable!

Saw these guys last night, my third time seeing them. Absolutely blew the doors off the place. He covered the standards from KWS band catalog, played a smoking cover of King Bee and closed it with Voodoo Chile. They're really a great live band, and KWS has now surrounded himself with some of the very best musicians around...Chris Layton SRV/Double Trouble and Tony Franklin on bass. Awesome.

Amazing guitarist, songwriter, amazing tone and style. Of course Srv was great...and Kenny learned from many older blues artists and takes it further with great songwriting where there is huge variety in their tunes. Noah sings amazing stuff, the whole band is completely top notch on cd's and in concert. Very interesting tune. Tons of Albert King, Srv, Hendrix, etc., in Kenny's playing with the added bonus on rockin intensity and energy :) Great tune. I play this tune with my band and it is a blast!!

I'm a big fan of KWSB since 2002 or 2003. Their 2011 album was a really good one, very solid. One thing: they should really try singing more in harmony; both Noah and Kenny have cool voices that kinda complement each other. Imho they should try vocal duets much more in their songs.
