This song kills me!! It reminds of my daughter different situations however, she came home for the holidays in 2017 and I found ❤ her on my bathroom floor from an overdose!! She loved this 🎵!! She just got lost along the way in life. She was 31yrs old. When she was younger I took her to all of my concerts from the time she was 2yrs old. She saw Kenny here in Florida, Chicago band, James Taylor so many great artists 💖💖 Thank you for listening!! I miss that girl every day

I love Heart 2 Heart and it's still 40yrs. later one of my all time favs. When I seen his live rendition of celebrate me home on cable I was left in awe. I played this song on 11/10/20 when my father came home from the hospital. I think I knew he was leaving me. It would be the hardest 24 hours of my life. He couldn't hear the song. He died in my arms on 11:11 2020 @ 9:11 We had been talking about these numbers for five years. I didn't know how important it was that Elohim was revealing mysteries to me about things coming on the world and that he would remove my father from having to suffer any of it. The first gift my late husband gave me was a Kenny Loggins CD and the book The Unimaginable Life, and it’s like my husband is with me every time I hear Kenny sing. The soundtrack of my husband’s life went from ‘I can’t find my way home’ from Steve Winwood, to ‘celebrate me home’ as he passed. He loved watching this performance of the Grand Canyon concert and especially this song. Thank you Mr Loggins for your poignant performances throughout the years that have touched so many lives.

Marc Russo is one of the best sax players around. I first heard of him back in early '90s when he was with Yellowjackets, one of the best jazz band around for decades. And Kenny...well...Kenny is one of the best singer I've ever heard. Had the chance to see him live in Milan, Italy, many years ago and still remember that gig like it was yesterday...what a performance...he's always, always on a perfect pitch, unbelievable...and this song is pure magic, I could listen to it over and over and over...! And I often do!

I first saw Kenny live the first time he started his solo album and he was good but through the years watching this right now he got great.! 💕🎶🎶 On a personal note this song holds dear to my heart.❤️ I had a twin brother very close to love I loved him unconditionally and he met this woman who for some reason just didn't like our family so in order for them to stay married they had to leave New York those were her demands they had two children and she made him moved to North Carolina in order to keep the marriage alive 🎶 as I simply loved and adored ❤️❤️🎶 my twin we had memories 🎶 and as kids we said we would never separate we'd always stay together or live in the same neighborhood raise our children the whole nine yards the American dream kind of idea💕🎶. Making a long story short my father even bought them a brand new van so they could come every Christmas and I would not have to miss him at Christmas which was such a special time for him and I. He never showed ☹️☹️ Christmas after Christmas after Christmas the promise he made that he would be there each Christmas 🎶to reconnect and spend some time together never happened! So this song is a song of love that I had for my brother and I would play it over and over again every Christmas praying he would show up and he never did. Now decades have passed and there are no memories from the time he left till now🌹 he threw his entire family away for one woman and a really big loving family! ☘️ Was the woman really worth it? Hell no!

@@dianer558 When the Celebrate Me Home album was released Kenny toured and opened for Fleetwood Mac. After the tour ended in Santa Barbra I was invited to attend a small get together at his beach home not far from the venue. Fleetwood Mac band members and very few other people were there. Mick made me a gin & tonic (or four) and thus the foundation of wonderful memories when I hear this song. Magical indeed!

I believe music is the closest correlation to the state of a society (hope , optimism, fear, strength, confusion, debauchery, etc.). I can understand why in 2023 many of our young are lost, confused, and angry. Many have lost hope in the future and what is being passed to them. Social media latches on the every moment and looks to capitalize from it. Millions around the world are trying to make a living off of social media by amping up emotions, fears, and anger. This is a large world and I hope many of our young realize they can escape the madness and disconnect from it.

I did not realize that this album was produced in 77.My Daughter was born in 77.I was pregnent with her when i saw Kenny at the County Bowl in Santa Barbara.Stevie Nicks made an appearence.I had the biggest crush on him .I loved his Album,"Celebrate me Home"album And I would play it over and over and over again.
