This Week I'm bringing you to the world's largest open pit iron mine. It is located in Hibbing Minnesota. The overlook is located on the outskirts of town. The viewing area has old mining equipment to crawl around on, and best of all it's completely free.
I then set out to find a dispersed campsite in the George Washington State Forest. I show exactly what I look for when trying to find dispersed campsites. I was keeping a close eye on the weather when a severe thunderstorm warning was issued. I quickly changed plans in fear of being stuck on a washed-out forestry road.
After a short drive I found a half empty State Forest Campground on Bear Lake. Campgrounds are never my style during the summer months; however, I was the only camper in the back loop of the campground. I took my E-bike for a ride and made my way to the boat landing. It was another unsuccessful attempt, but I did have three strikes. My fishing road has broken multiple times, it is at least a foot shorter then when new. I wonder if my hookset is bad because of the broken rod? It's probably just the person holding the rod.
Thanks for joining me on this little adventure. I tried to keep the camera rolling around the rain, I hope you enjoy.
We will see you next week.
Wait.....Dont forget to leave a comment and press the thumbs up button on the video. Those two things are really important factors when KZbin is deciding to show my videos to other people.
Hopefully one day I'll see you down the road!
