Of course it is ! My son's a third degree 3rd in aikijujitsu Aikido and he's come to a few of my seminars in Kenpo to help us perfect our grappling ,of course it is and it works quite well

More from Jujutsu or Judo. Tighter and smaller circles. Aikido tends to have bigger circles with kote gaeshi.

Most Kenpo techniques I see are better thought out. You would have to be faster than your opponent to make that work, and there is a lot of wasted movement. Not normal from what I've seen in Tatum's other videos.
