Our journey will the first wielder of the blade Kat, a young boy who came upon the Phoenix Blade after his caravan was slaughtered. Now on the run from both the Holy Nation and the United Cities, Kat can only count on two things. Himself and the blade in his hand.
Kenshi is a free-roaming squad based RPG. Focusing on open-ended sandbox gameplay features rather than a linear story. Be a trader, a thief, a rebel, a warlord, an adventurer, a farmer, a slave, or just food for the cannibals. Research new equipment and craft new gear.

I just wanted to add to the others and say thank you for continuing this tale even after well over two years. When I had my Kenshi addiction last year, I also watched the tale of Sand not nearly to the fullest, as I didn't have the time, but I still watched the first few episodes. Just recently Kenshi drew me back into its charm of unforgiving cruelty and I sought out other tales, what their experience would be like. I know no other game that is so well-made for telling once own story, and yet the role-plays on KZbin are very limited. You would think that a game that offers you endless stories, like the one of a trader making a living in these unforgiving lands, an escaped slave from Reborn seeking revenge, a young boy influenced by a blade to seek ever stronger foes or my own tale of an abandoned Shek seeking to be accepted again by his kin, no matter the price. Yet for all these possibilities there are little good tales such as yours, so I'm thankful for your hard work and hope you are able to finish it one day ^^

Rycon where has cat been for so long, I appreciate it must take a heck of a long time to make an episode but for us diehard Kenshi fans it seems like an absolute age, thanks dude for quenching our thirst 👍😊

god man youre actually such a good storyteller. the flip of a classic video pursuit of power and level ups into a story of someone who is obsessed with violence is great. And the way that when Cat is fighting the most and spilling the most blood the blade feels lighter to him, but when he begins to question his past and feel sad it grew heavy, leading him to again seek violence. such a good strong story. violence is his drug and he uses it to run away from more complex problems. maybe some of this you didnt intend, but the fact the story can make me think about it so much is a testament to it

Hi Rycon really love what you do in these videos. Really like the story too. It has similarities with the Elric of Melnibone book series by Michael Moorcock which also has a protagonist who struggles with a magical blade. It would be interesting to see Kat get more corrupted by the blade and struggle with either keeping himself safe or giving in to his desires to go after the powerful fighters of Kenshi even when the odds don't look good. Love the story keep up the good work.

I hope for the day where the judgment befalls the fallen, when two blades meet, both obssesed, but one still remains sane for now, so alike and so different, one of flesh and one of metal, same name, same enemy, but oh so different, a great battel will occur! Where the mad shall fall for the blade it once fought in a fierce battle, a cat fight if you will. That was kinda cringe, but hey, i think what i did seems to make sense, mad cat lon, the meteoric blade, the phoenix lord?

Love this series Rycon! It was your Sand series that introduced me to Kenshi and it has since become one of my favourite games of all time. Have you ever checked out Starsector? Like Kenshi in space, could be a cool game to roleplay. You might like Underrail too, not sure if it would mesh with the channel but it's got an amazing atmosphere.
