Dear Community. Please confirm that if Linksys PAP2 or LinkSys SPA 3102 support to Callcentric 2nd Part. There is other model Linksys SPA3102 , what is difference in this model and the one in this video as Linksys Pap2. These Two devices looks same in video.

Wow old but still useful. How do I connect my existing pots line? I still have an old pots line. What can I use to connect that?

Transfer your phone number to the VOIP provider. Cancel POTS service. Disconnect where POTS connects to house. Plug PAP2T into wall for your house's phone lines. Now all your phones and FAX machines will work like normal.

Hm nice. Clarifies some things a bit. I was figuring out the meaning of a GOIP gateway, ?FXO gateway?(a misleading word, it seems) and a VOIP gateway. Always favorite these tweaking things. Unless they don't operate because of some reason.

Hi kent, can I make yousome questions? I wanna use one of these with an old videogame console that can play online trough phoneline callings. I have confirmed that the console works with voip nowdays, but it seems it another way to use it is possible too, with some changes in the configuration. So What want to explian you and ask if these both configuration will be compatible or I must change it each time I want to give it a different use.would you let me explain it to you better?

This provider is EXPENSIVE.. no unlimited outgoing. Comparing to magicjack (the plus has came along way) why bother? I am thinking of getting a SIP for the 2 pap2 I have, but paying by the min for any landline is NUTS

I've a situation and I'm curious to know if it works. I use a gsm dongle and plug in to my wireless router (Using a Xiaomi 3 Router) via its usb port, then connect the wireless router to the VOIP by lan cable. Additionally, I've a dect phone which I'll connect to the VOIP by normal telephone line. The source of internet and phone line will be the sim card in the gsm dongle which i'll subscribe to a local service provider.

Try using port forwarding in your router. I have: UDP port 5060 UDP ports 16000-17000 I set my PAPT2 to a static IP address (in video) to make port forwarding easier. Try taking PAPT2 to a friends house (different ISP and router) and see if works better there to troubleshoot where problems is.

Thanks for your training video.. i have a Fixed Wireless Modem with a GSM sim containing my office front office known phone number... Now i have moved to another office space with all phones on Ip phone extension in the premises already installed just starting working.. but its a rented premises and i cant loss my office phone known phone number.. i tried using my FWN GSM device in the landlords PBX all port filled with the PSTN RJ11 port. Now i need to interface there IP Phone PBX line and still have my phone number working.. How can i do these with my GSm line still working and use there IP Phones boxes installed. I tried accessing or setting up SIP Account via there IP Phone box with interfacing my Analog line coming into there PBX but cant get it working... Please anybody with quick and easy clue? Or setup my own IP PBX seperate Using ATA SPA122 for the Analog line and ... How will i have the calls routing into the Ip Phones ? I need help any one.. Please...

I have a question. How does that machine separate the two phones? Like I wanna setup a LAN voip system, which has few of those adapters and phones. I know you call to other phones by IP but how do you choose which phone you call in the adapter, when adapter is hooked by only one ethernet cable to the switch.

+Antti Kannisto Each adapter or second line of same adapter would have a different SIP port number so they can all use the same LAN. On VOIP.MS site you create sub-accounts for each device or line. Each device will register with the VOIP.MS server. You can also have VoIP software running on a cell phone. Then you set up ring groups to have DID (phone number) to ring each adapter. You can have multiple adapter ring with same number and have multiple numbers ring same adapter.

+Antti Kannisto I have several phones and a FAX machine plugged in to the same line and they all ring and work. There is a setting for ring drive strength based on "Ringer Equivalence". Default is 4. The very old Ma Bell phones had mechanical ringers with a RE of 1. Newer phones have a lower RE value. The proper voltages are supplied to operate a phone without anything else needed.

Guess it broke. Look in the management settings with a web browser to see if you can get any clues. These are cheap counterfeit items so not surprising for it to break. Buy a new one.

Hello, i have same as you have. I got some problem with that, and I don´t know what I should change and what not. It works before very good but now, when I make phone calls, example to my cell phone, it´s ringing but I don´t hear any voice after when I have typing numbers, waiting voice. What I should to do? +Juha Breilin I had a problem with no audio too. I think re-powering adapter and router fixed it. The VOIP.ms support suggested forwarding range UDP 10000-20000 to adapter.

To reset the PAP2T to factory defaults follow these steps: Plug in power adapter.Plug in a phone to 'Phone 1′ port of the PAP2T.Dial ****You should hear 'Configuration Option Menu'Dial 73738# (RESET#)Press 1 to confirm the reset.

The PAP2T connects to the internet LAN cable. You then plug a phone into the PAP2T. I have 5 phones and a FAX machine connected to PAP2T.

+mandy giles Maybe you have bad LAN cable or port? Try different cable and port. You should see LED's light up on both ends when you plug this in. I noticed it can only support 10 mbps connection. Maybe your HUB/switch can only support 100/1000 mbps? The very first network HUBs could not auto switch so you had to use crossover cable. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethernet_crossover_cable Most cables are straight patch cables, not cross over. If that does not work you need new PAP2T.

You can have two but each one hooks to LAN like any other LAN device. You have to configure each one to a different SIP port. Just one PAP2T can run all the phones in your house. I also have a VoIP phone connected to LAN.

For those looking for firmware for the PAP2T, here's a working link for 5.1.6 as of 2019 just in case the Cisco download site is giving you errors like "The download process was interrupted".
