That excavator with the bucket on backwards and the pulley mounted on the boom just above the bucket, is that machine used as a mobile anchor for a skyline?

Hi Robert, the excavator with the Tractionline winch is utilized in steep slope harvesting. The excavator rests immobile atop a steep slope, anchored in. It's ropes attach to a Fellerbuncher as it safely works the steep slope bellow. I appreciate the question. Thanks for watching.

I've never seen that but I am familiar with the method they use on ski slopes with winch cats, although they have dedicated anchors. Thanks for sharing the interesting videos!

Correct! It aboveground mulches. Vermeer FT300's are utilized in large land-clearing projects. It pushes trees over then mulches them with impressive speed. Thanks for watching!

No Headache Rack?

Sorry, I have no info on this truck for using a cab guard rather than headache rack. My memory isn't the best to recite headache rack requirements for British Columbia lowbeds. Perhaps someone with more knowledge of the regulations can add a response. I, too, would thing it must have a headache rack to be legal. Thanks for watching!
