Well, no wonder it happens, I mean, the idea of gambling itself is pretty appealing, especially in countries that are poor, you're given a small chance of winning a lot of money, and children are easily susceptible to that.

Yes but poverty and gambling addictions go hand in hand, you say you're fairly rich and you gamble most days--you however are actually in a position to do so, and you've not pissed away your money doing it. Most poor people can't actually afford to gamble but many do it anyways to the point where it gets them in dire straits

I remember seeing "play2win" stores when i was a kid(5-9) in my country (India). It was everywhere. Every street had one and I used to hear adults talking about some dude who sold his house to win the lottery. Overnight it seemed to vanish. It was banned outright and gambling is very uncommon now. Probably still exists but driven underground and none of the people I know engage in gambling. It might not be a good idea to take a human psychological problem and drive it underground but it seems to have worked here

I remember my dads friends gambling back in the 1980s on machines that don't even give you cash. They would just give you points. To this day they are still poor and still are gambling but of course on slots and card games.

Is just like the 1980's in the U.S. Before portable gaming systems were popular, every U.S mall had an arcade that kids would spend every cent they had in. It became as bad as the kids in this story and only subsided because so many U.S kids have gaming systems in their homes now. If it wasn't for home gaming systems, U.S kids would still be just as bad if not worse.
@atomtopa
@atomtopa 6 жыл бұрын
DUMB. Did the US kids win money from the arcade game?
@johnnyrobinson8168
@johnnyrobinson8168 6 жыл бұрын
atomtopa - Depends on the arcade! For example, If it was one at Chucky Cheese/ Showbiz Pizza ect, then "Yes" you could win something! Not legal money but for many young kids, it was just as valuable! I take it, you are not old enough to remember that time! If you were, you would not have made your comment. In the 80's when arcades were huge due to most kids not having access to video games at home, news channels spoke the same way about U.S kids as the Kenyan kids in this story. Spending all their lunch money, stealing money from their parents etc...

China seems to be targeting black countries and communities they’re in Jamaica too taking over most of the businesses and here in the UK most of the nail and hair shops and casinos please my people stop supporting them they have no care for your wellbeing, also fake rice and fish they’re exporting now!

They target everywhere. They pretty much own British Columbia and have a heavy hand in the US west coast and Australia. All over Latin America and Asia. The rest of the world fucks around while they catch people slippin, you just have to step your game up

CB W very true I’m sure Africa still pay a colonial fee to the French to this day. But what China isn’t doing in brute force is still affecting them financially, they’re not building them up they’re taking from their back pocket essentially. Africa needs to grow as a continent and thrive off of their own resources (what’s left of them) and build from the ground up. A lot of the bad things Chinese are doing is black market too as I said fake rice and fish products being sold in the African/Caribbean communities and it seems blacks are the only people who are buying these things. Economical targets.

In the Philippines also, there are a lot of those in the province, after 10 years they're illegal now because of teenagers and children gambling. But arcades they aren't considered as gambling because they're in malls.
