@@iandiru6433 yes...they want to use city commuter cabins for long distance travel...that is very bad. The reason why I won't bother traveling with the train. Just stick to shuttles.

These National Assets should never have been left to waste away...I wonder if anyone is still around who can recall the splendor of the night passenger service between Nairobi and Kampala...ask any of the former students of the Highlands School (now Moi Girls) Eldoret!!!!!.... apart from the capital assets...we also wasted away the valuable human resources and skills that had taken generations to build...... Soon we are want to engage in such foolishness once again courtesy IMF dictats on restructuring and redundancies following the new waves of lendings that we have just been accorded!!

I totally agree with you! The sad thing is we have the brains but they are being used for the wrong reasons. When our leaders start thinking about the people and the nation remembers we put the leaders there and for a reason, Kenya will trun around and we can benefit from the gold mine it is.
