I was on holiday in December and decided to visit Kericho from Nairobi. Reluctantly used that road instead of Westland route. We stopped at view point before kimende and realised our back tyre is losing pressure. Checking it we saw a massive nail protruding from the tyre. Luckily we drove to the nearby total petrol station where we fixed it and continued with our journey. I was super suspicious of it because it’s not a normal nail you find in the highway. Reading this now I realised we narrowly escaped a robbery incident! Quick recovery to the victims and everyone be alert and if you notice a puncture do not stop until you reach a safe area like petrol station or police station!
