I live in Hamburg Germany and I thought of Skyping with my mum in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia but upon watching this video, I am opting to do it as you did my newly discovered darling sister. So much genuine joy & love you radiated and god bless you "chechi"(sister)

I have now tried this recipe 3 times and each time it has been a runaway success. Even served this to an American audience that is not used to handling too much spice and was surprised to see how much they enjoyed it and helped establish that Indian food is more than just Chicken Tikka Masala. Thanks much Sneha...please keep them coming.

Great recipe. I made it last night and it came out wonderfully. After I coated chicken with masala in a pan, I added coconut milk and let everything simmer for 15 mins on low to medium flame. Chicken came out very tender. I used boneless chicken thighs. Happy cooking

I tried this dish with red whole chilis and it turned out really good as well, it had more of a tangy spice instead of the bold spice that green chili’s have.. come to find out Masala Wok Indian/Asian restaurant actually makes this same dish with the red chili’s ☺️ I love this dish this is my go to curry ♥️

I added red chili as well although I had green chilies. Red chilies are more spicier too and that’s how I like it and it was so flavorful and lovely!!

That’s interesting! I wanted to add Garam masala as well but thought I’d just keep it as original recipe. Would love to try it with Garam masala next time! And I LOVE basil! That’s an interesting combination, girl!! ❤

You can just press it, if the chicken is soft then it's done.
@brayingmonKEY

if you want to be very sure, take out the thickest piece with bone from the curry on a plate and cut it. There should be no trace of blood inside and it should look whitish, and not dark in colour.

Do it with just one piece. If that one thick piece is cooked, the others most likely will be. A sacrifice for the others. Will experience you can tell from how the chicken looks.

I'm born in South African, South Indian descendant. This is not curry from where i am from. Curry cooked by "Indians" in South Africa is way hotter than this. A teaspoon of chili powder was used in this recipe. Here we use around 6 TABLESPOONS. Keen to try this recipe though.

6 tbsps? Oyy!! :D This is very south Indian/Kerala style Chicken curry though, adding coconut milk is what makes it "south" Indian. Hope you try this too.
