That fishing net is called Chinese Fishing Net.Once just a fishing accessory, it is now a big bait for tourists. Welcome back after your holidays. Historically Romans, Jews, early Christians, Chinese, Arabs, Portuguese, Dutch, French and British came for trading. Over 2000+ yrs so lot of history and people settling here. Because of Western Ghats only people from Tamil Nadu and Mysore were coming here due to geography. So most people came here via sea. Great video!

Hi, kaisi ho? Hope you are doing well. Kache kathal ki sabjiyaan keral ke log bhi banathe hain- kache kathal ki sambar aur coconut masala daal ke dry sabzi bhi banathe hain, ‘thoran’ bolte hain usko. Haan magar, pake hue se bohot saare desserts bhi banathe hain- steamed appam and deep fried jaise gulgule ki tarah aur payasam/gur ka kheer bhi hoti hain pake hue kathal se.
