@scamexpose1234 ай бұрын
Everything is costly in general in India. Nothing is cheap and people don’t get the value services for the price paid. Let’s be honest on this. I found Thailand slightly cheaper than India for hostels, hotels, condos and Thailand has super developed services unlike India. Food? Even that is on par. Hardly any travellers consume street food, so let’s be honest on this as well. Cost of food in a descent restaurant in India is almost same as in Thailand, Malaysia etc..
@KegamerFf-z6n4 ай бұрын
650 rupee for that is cheap, but you should not expect 5 star bus facility, if you pay 10000,you may get good bus I am not sure you find any bus with toilet,it's not common, 😂😂,
@_615144 ай бұрын
@@KegamerFf-z6nWell, our mistake but in Europe in many countries you can get very nice almost luxury bus for that price. Another thing is, we were little bit surprised by the conditions in the bus because the website was simply misleading, it had different pictures and said there would be toilet. In most of the buses in Europe we have toilets on board so it's nothing to be considered luxurious but more like a standard. Didn't know there would be so much mold on the walls as well. Overall, like we said we enjoyed our trip eventually. It wasn't a big deal and we were laughing about it and saying it was kinda cool lol

Since you booked a budget sleeper bus, it doesn’t come with an onboard bathroom. However, the bus does make one or two stops for restroom breaks and meals. If you had opted for a more expensive ticket, you would have likely gotten a bus with bathroom facilities. It all depends on how much you’re willing to spend.
@journey_boundYT4 ай бұрын
yeah if it stopped for some breaks, it would have been great, but It had zero stops, we had to beg the driver to stop to use a bathroom. It's no big deal though, this is all a learning experience so we can do better next India trip.

@Abraracourix3 ай бұрын
Those sleeper buses with no ac are buses from hell. No bathroom in 99% Indian buses. You are better off in a train and don’t buy a general class ticket as the bathrooms can be a nightmare of its own. Keep drinking a couple of coconuts a day. Coconut water has electrolytes which you need your body to replenish in South India especially in the coast as it is hot and very humid and you will sweat your balls losing a lot of electrolytes. Drinking coconut water replenishes them and you feel hydrated without feeling exhausted because of loss of body minerals. As for coconuts, between the green and the yellow ones, always pick the yellow. It’s a bit more expensive but totally worth it as the water is much tastier and more water too. Green ones are average and cheaper. Even the yellow ones cost only $0.50-0.60 tops and totally worth it.
@robrichardson128420 күн бұрын
Great for hangovers, coconut.
@Abraracourix20 күн бұрын
@ I guess any kind of liquids is good for a hangover though it’s difficult to look for a coconut seller when you wake up hung over lol Water will work just fine. If you are in the tropics, you sweat a lot and lose electrolytes and feel tired fast. Coconut water has most of the electrolytes except sodium ( it’s light on sodium) so if you add a pinch of salt to the coconut water, you have the perfect natural electrolyte.

is it safe there? we would love to see more of India
@internet_wanderer83164 ай бұрын
@@journey_boundYTNoooo. You will feel Kerala is so much safer and people behave in a civilized manner when you visit the states I mentioned. North Indians also keep their streets dirty like hell and never admit their mistakes and very good in arguing their wrong doings. But during 9am to 9pm, you can visit all historic places, markets, eateries etc. Touristy places are fine because they won't play with their source of income although there would be touts everywhere trying to scam tourists. Do some research before going and staying or visiting new places and visit in safe hours. It also depends on how you are travelling. Use uber or ola cabs, stay in good hotels, don't listen to touts, don't fall for any discounts or anything, most touts would be selling you fake stuff for lots of money, always ask right authorities for help, avoid going to unsafe areas, keep checking with decent looking people or policemen etc. Women are gangraped a lot in North India. So be mindful of that as well. Even better if you have an anchor from Delhi to help you move around the city. Anchor means decent people not rickshawwalas etc.

@@journey_boundYT most of the stereotypes about India you see on the internet are due to North India. Well, not completely their fault, north India just was affected a lot by all the invader and the European colonizers.
