I just want to thank you for making your original tutorials (yes ancient I know) but they were the first things I saw when I looked for tutorials about a year ago. I had just bought the game after seeing jacksepticeye play it, and I was garbage, I just about gave up on it until I found the old tutorials and I loved them and this channel and now I was honestly shocked watching another youtuber play ksp, and he was doing some things to build a minus base and doing terribly. But it kind of did the opposite of humbling me, I'm so used to watching Matt lowne and tape gaming play and do these amazing things and feeling like I'm a garbage ksp player, now I feel a lot better and I feel like recognizing where the majority of those skills came from, your tutorials and videos! I just wanted to say thanks, double thanks if you read all that lol, and that you're an awesome channel.

Also I'm just now realizing the other day I put a station core in orbit with an ssto, I may be better than I judge myself as. (it was only like a 2.5 ton core so I guess, not *really* a Matt lowne level of skill but hey I designed it myself too!)

CZane Thanks a lot pinning this comment 😎 I started the tutorials because every other tutorial I found assumed you knew everything like gravity turn and they show of their brilliant designs, even I got flustered at my lack of progress so I decided make everything simple to understand. I'm glad that people find these helpful I just decided they needed updating as the game keeps changing 😉

Something I always like to put on my stations (and ships) are lights. It's a lot easier to dock on the night side if you can see your target. I also like to illuminate the docking ports on stations with different colored lights - green for 2.5 ports and red for 1.25 ports. Makes it a lot easier to pick the correct port since I use ships of both sizes,

@hop66495 жыл бұрын
Jonathan Black ok! Do you also make moon bases in career? If you even made one yet?
@TheNecropolis205 жыл бұрын
You do eventually build a moon base in career , i never really got that far. I have gotten close though. after you do the first 4 missions - gather science (i usually put the science guy Bob on the vessel), launch first vessel (i build the Flea it goes up to 10 or 15 KM up and then i deploy the chute), escape atmosphere (for this mission i cant use Flea cause it cant be sent to these heights and return safely), and then orbit Kerbin . the next missions are return to Kerbin from orbit and then flyby the Mun. after fly by the Mun im not sure what happens next, it might say fly by Minmus or it might say land on the Mun. if it does say land On the Mun make sure your astronaut complex is upgraded so you can plant a flag on the Mun.. after you get back to Kerbin i would just plan to build a base on the Mun near your flag site on the Mun. getting to the Mun is very easy.. also getting to Jool is easy because of Jools big gravity... getting to asteroids is very hard iv tried so hard to get to asteroids.
