Just lovely. We have a fiddle player learning the Kerfunken jig in our house right now. It is nice to hear & learn from your beautiful version.

I know I'm a little late to the party, but I enjoyed this very much. Beautiful playing.

Lovely playing ! The correct name for the first jig (composed by Hammy Hamilton) is Kerfunten Jig, not Kerfunken ;-)
@thegoodtunes Жыл бұрын
Yes you’re right. We’ve heard this one been referred to as Kerfunken by a number of different players. Thanks for the info!

Hi Guys! love your videos, and my husband and I have been playing along and learning lots! Is there any way we can get you to share chord progressions for this set of tunes? t'would be hugely appreciated! Or do you or could you do a lesson on this? Thanks!

Great playing! What tuning do you play the guitar in? Is it Drop D?
@thegoodtunes4 жыл бұрын
Just standard tuning this time! Some of our other videos feature Drop D tuning though :)

Your playing is just a joy to listen to. Lovely clean playing. A real inspiration to this aspiring fiddle player (and 3rd generation Danish-American!). Do you have any recorded music available for sale? Almost feels like stealing to get all this great music for free...
@thegoodtunes3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Greger! We don't have anything released (apart from our videos) yet, but we have plans in the pipeline to do some albums - we'll update as things develop!

A lot of hard work in there - much appreciated. Lovely playing - great fiddling and really great rhythm on guitar. 3rd jig kinda lets it down to end on. Not your playing! But the tune itself isn’t up to scratch with the others. Crazy advice for the guitarist - it’s really great that you can play the tunes on guitar. Well done 👏👏. The trick in great accompaniment is for sure to be able to play it - but that doesn’t mean you should!!! It enables you to play phenomenal accompaniment. Where the tunes shine is where you’re playing really beautiful chords with tasty reference to the tune - but not the tune itself. Lovely musicianship 👏💝💝Fiddle is first class and guitar is sweet as a nut.
