Levan at BimmerECUSolutions is the man. I can confirm this being a better product over existing adapters. I was dealing with interference during logs, from my dashcam to my other devices. Hi Kevin. One last question. Just watched the Kies video on their Wi-Fi energy adapter. For cloud based apps / on-line apps like BM3 and xHP requiring Wi-Fi to vehicle and connectivity to the cloud … the Kies product requires the user to enter the IP address and subnet. Does the MHD adapter require similar or does it figure this out for you? Appreciate your thoughts.

You can Download everything before connecting to the adapter. You can select certain apps to use data only even on wifi. Flashing and logging works without wifi access once tunes are downloaded

Has it been confirmed that this offers more stable WiFi connection than the black one for the F series!? I keep having crappy logs occasionally due to chunks of data missing. One thing that all reviews so far fail to mention is that this new adaptor has NO LAN CAPABILITY - so no plan B (unlike the black adaptor). One must rely on WLAN entirely! This could be a huge downside, if the WLAN is not as reliable as advertised.

I just got this and it will not stay connected to wifi. I just tried logging my car with it and it will disconnect randomly. I would not try flashing with it in this state. very disappointed

@@kern417on the page it doesn’t mention the 335d & I looked it up & it says it has limitations for the 335d I forgot what it was that it isn’t able to do, & it says if I want to tune the car fully I would have to take the ECU out & send it to someone to tune it, it also says if my ECU is a old type it would also have limitations to tuning Overall, I’m not to sure what’s actually the limitations but it could be in general my ECU that’s just old & limited, nothing to do with the MHD tune adapter & it also might be why they don’t say it on the website that my car is supported because of the limitations
