4:28 I never imagined Dionysus could sound this scary.

That's one of my favorite line deliveries by Dionysus, the way his tone goes so quickly from "chill bro" to "cold-blooded revenge" is really impressive

I've heard one where he sounds furious, and once the encounter ended he said he wasn't really mad.

Whats kind of bizzare is, although Hades 2 is magnificent and bound to get better, Hades 1 had this warmth to it in tone. Comfort. By way of contrast, Malinoe's perilous and dour task made me want to come back to Zagreus.
@axira33Ай бұрын
I agree. I think it's mainly because Zagreus's "task" was mostly his own decision. It didn't have the same dark contrast the second game had. He had the vibe of a moody teenager trying to run away from home, while Melinoe's task is super important and crucial. She didn't have much of a choice.

I’ll admit I do like the way that when Mel comes home after dying Hecate is so supportive and patient rather than hades telling zagreus to go fuck himself all the time 😂

It sounded like Asterius genuinely fell for Theseus but Theseus it letting the repeated loses get to him.

I'll own the one at 4:37, because the trap is in the frame and I could've noticed I was walking into it, but the second hit was unnecessary! lol

me and Thanatos both have the same smile (the silly sort of upside down one in his second portrait) and so I see so many people be afraid of it while I see it as something to be happy at 😭😭 (I think it’s cause of his glowing eyes + the fact he tries to be emo all the time but is just a nerd who sucks ass with his feelings)

Why was skelly next to you when you were talking to persephone?
@laerugo5 күн бұрын
I'm confused, do you mean at 3:52? That's the only time Persephone is in the video but the person standing to the right of Zag is Orpheus, not Skelly. I don't see Skelly in that scene at all. Unless you mean when I'm talking to Demeter at 1:00? Skelly is on the battlefield there because he's summonable using Cthonic Companion Rib, which you can unlock with Skelly at seven hearts (giving him one Ambrosia after six nectars).

see this is what the second game is missing. we need more humor!!
@laerugo27 күн бұрын
The characters are less comedic in 2, but I think there's still a fair amount of humor in the game. (mild spoilers) King Vermin returning as Uh-Oh, Chronos trying to banter with his granddaughter, Moros fanboying over Odysseus, etc. It's definitely darker but honestly it's a bit more in line with other Supergiant games of having "dramatic storyline with humorous bits" instead of Hades's initially lighter tone, so I still love it.
