Representatives of the ABC in literature, TV and radio may have failed to continue the high standards journalism in most recent years but a the heart of things, this is one of the only ways Australia will continue to keep those who wish to corrupt their audience honest. This is the best we have.

Kerry Obrien, one of Australias better journalists, up there with john Pilger, had the pleasure of chatting with him one night - he does not think much of Henry Kissenger - - -

When the old tell the new Up Your Game you know how low we have gone.. Thank you Mr O’Brien but I truly think Australia has lost its soul. All we do is talk, Australians are more about themselves then about Everyone and everything.

Why are journos so sure about climate change. It's a complex area, I don't see them claiming to be experts on cardiology debates or theoretical physics disagreements.

bell leon , I don’t care if his right. He just gave us his political views, not very greatful. If he is so right, why did the country go against it. Remember Bob Hawke said the people are never wrong at election time.

Standing ovations at the start and the end, spontaneous applause breaks and hearty cheering at key moments in between. Not to mention respectful, pin-drop quiet attentativeness (which rarely happens at the Logies).
