Yes, bone is really bone. Usually cow bone, and it's usually dyed.

Been meaning to get into traditional slip joints. Originally had seen the black G-10 with the 7cr17mov but then found this version, they're the same price so I thought this was a no brainier. Looking forward to getting it! Thanks for the review.
