It’s running on nylon 😅 and the pivot tube is D-shaped. Thanks for taking a look! Thought you might appreciate the Hinderer-qualities. I’ve had and used this thing since 2014 😁

My Thermite came way off center, almost touching the G10 side but as a user it doesn't bother me. It runs on nylon which helps with smoothness, wish it wasn't assisted though. The clip on kine is tight and does a great job keeping the knife secure.

I've had a Thermite for a long time now. It's a great knife for the money. I've had zero issues. Great review. Also, their warranty is great. Doesn't matter if its ZT or Kershaw they will take good care of you. I've dealt with them in the past and they are fantastic.

I digg it. I have actually been carrying my Kershaw Westin that you recommended and you said it was your favorite a while ago I like it a lot usually not a assisted fan but on this knife it’s deploys great not to over snappy it carry’s well in my office setting today is the last day of carry till I change up because YUP!!! I got an itch like crazy I just bought 4 knives Steel Will CutJack. The Modus. Ritter Hogue ( it was a must I diggiit ever time I see your Ritter). And the 4th is BM Bugout bought micarta scales. Zach Stuff has me hooked on what he calls the bugout project so far I have 3 bugouts CF. TI and now micarta. I’m buying 4 more in the next week. I buy 3 budgets knives and one around the $200 mark give or take. I was going to email you to see if you wanted me to send you one of my ZT0804 to check I have 2 I bought along time ago. Any recommendations on my next purchase of the 3 budgets knives? Not all just one recommendation not all 4 lol that would way to much on you. Or if you have a reco for the $200 knife range there are so many to choose from. I really like that twosun with the garaged stop pin that Neeves sent you but man so many good knives in this range. I guess it’s a good kind of stress lol..

Just got the Kershaw bareknuckle in 20cv. Lock release tab is a little difficult to disengage. Not sure why. I have a breakout with the same sub-frame lock and it's a breeze to disengage. One more thing...the blade came dull out of the box, can't even slice smoothly through printer paper. Easy enough to sharpen up on the KME, but still is disappointing.

I've unassisted a knife without a detent hole...but you need a Dremel tool.

It seems to be a good knife. I just don't get into Kershaws that much. I'm not sure what it is but something won't allow me to like them. 😂

Jeff Smith just think ZT and KAI and you will fall for one. Trust me. That’s like saying that you don’t like wharncliffes... you’ll eventually see one that you may like or may want to use. Kershaw kills it for the value and before Civivi they were the best value for the buck imo ! Kershaw Eris. Kershaw launch. Kershaw natrix. I suggest them all!

Wonder why some are on nylon. I have 2, one is for parts, but both are on pb washers. I guess it just depends on what they have stock of, because my cryo is on pb, but my cryo 2 is on nylon.
