The Battle of New York was like Marvel's reaction to 9/11. It's one of those moments where everyone asks "where were you when Loki invaded Earth" and you just remember where you were when it happened. It even bleeds into real life, with people reminiscing over where they were when this one dropped. I went to watch it with a bunch of friends from school, late in the evening on a school night with us all packing in on a tram to go to Manchester city centre's Odeon for the IMAX screening. Such a good moment in my life. I'll never forget it. I remember my friend telling us all who Thanos was and we all went home to research it for ourselves 😂

2:55 I think what happened in the original timeline was Erik Selvig quickly came in after that to dissolve the situation. He essentially told Pierce what he, Hawkeye, and other SHIELD agents had been through ALL because of Loki, how the Tesseract's power still can't be properly control or harnessed by their top scientists and nuclear physicists, that a small output of its energy destroyed their Mission facility and promptly ended Project Pegasus, and that there was no need to pointlessly keep Loki around on Earth, especially if he could something similar with other SHIELD agents, potentially steal the Tesseract again and cause even more harm, and reminded him that he's the god of Mischief (who swiftly escaped their containment that was used for the Hulk) and that Thor, his brother and their ally, is NOT someone you want to screw with, and Pierce begrudgingly agreed to let him and the Tesseract go. 3:52-3:56 In my opinion, that's Peter and Ned.

What about the people that were on a train, or a plane, or a boat, or in a medical surgery? These people appeared and immediately died again? I fucking hate Wandavision and Spiderman FFH for that shit of people appearing at the same spot where they were banished, like come on many people died doing that. I heard that the producers and writers said something like that banished people appeared in a safe place, but that was a lie. Also how they made that Steve Rogers never cared about Sam Wilson´s family, I'm pretty sure that Steve would know that Sam had a family that would need help if Sam was gone. That was some bullshit that damaged Steve Rogers's character. And finally how Secret Invasion annihilated Nick Fury's character as a whole.

3:01 Tony looks disappointed then looks at Bruce Banner when eating his shawarma, I'd like to think that he's disappointed because of the whole event with Alexander Pierce and the Hulk.

Past Tony didn't get slammed by the Hulk, it was the future one unless your talking about the elevator scene too

@@EndyPlaysRE The Hulk would've still caused a whole scene in the lobby because of walking down the entirety of stairwell of Stark Tower, didn't even need to mention a thing about the Time Heist, goofy.

So what exactly happened after the scuffle between Alexander Pierce and Tony since that’s what originally happen in the timeline before Ant-Man interfered? Like did Pierce just gave up after putting his hand on Tony’s wrist trying to get the briefcase? And wouldn’t The Other had informed Thanos about the failed invasion like immediately after the battle of New York events way before the Adrian Toomes opening scene from Homecoming?

I think Nick Fury intervened, since he told the Council that he let Thor take the Tesseract.

Should have included the Marvel One Shot: Item 47. Which also deals with the aftermath of Battle of New York. Having a couple who recover Chitari Tech from the battle and use it to commit robberies.
