@Brianna Sharon That's nonsense. You don't need to be "born wealthy" to be able to move into another place. Such victim mentality just makes you apathetic and passive. I'm currently unemployed, have been employed and unemployed during the years - lucks turns and turns again, and I and life go on. And during all that time, I have been living in multiple different places, in better and worse neighborhoods. Once I'll get a job again I'll also move again. In the future I plan to live in the countryside, where it's cheaper anyway. To achieve that goal I'm right now getting a new education, which isn't easy or fun, and has to be planned around where I get the money. One has to make something with their life and chase their dreams, even if they were more modest ones such as mine, not waste their time being jealous of others and feeling helpless.

As a child, I never paid any mind to birds, except for maybe a few eagles that were flying low or something. As I’m getting older and watching videos like this made me realize how intelligent and...in some cases almost human like in their actions. I just never even considered the daily lives of birds before. Just superb footage here! Well done with everything.

For four months I cared for a Krestel that had been shot down over a dove field. It didn’t need more care than I could give it. Below it adjusted well to me and our home (I was 14 living with my parents) I kept it longer than needed but one day I let it fly off. I’ve never forgotten my time with the bird; it left me changed for life. Thank you for making this and sharing.

Lol yeah because this definitely compares to growing up as a human 😂 Lol can you imagine how easy and stress free life would be if you were born with one purpose and instinctively knew how to best do it you only had to depend on the previous generation for a handful of weeks. Doesn’t sound complicated at all, in fact it requires no conscious thought whatsoever. My apologies for completely dismantling your comment but I find it annoying putting such little thought into what I say.

This reminds me of one of my most favorite bible verse, Matthew 6:25-27, we always worry about our complicated lives when God provides for the birds in the sky, aren't we more valuable than birds......if you are in a tough spot, hit rock bottom or almost want to give up, just look at the birds above, and say dont worry about a thing cause its gonna be alright.

@@philsummerfield206 I agree that it is not complex, but it isn’t easy nor stress free. In some aspects, humans have even less to worry about as they do not live in the wild. They lack sentience, but still go through multiple fights and often end up not even living past their first year. I do not appreciate how you disregard any form of tension and emotion between inter-species rivalries, failure, providing for god who knows how many children + your spouse + yourself, etc. It is true that they have one purpose, but that purpose is to raise their kin, to fuel the next generation. This purpose means finding a nest, then impressing a female (if male), protecting their eggs from any harm before the children are even born, providing sufficient food for the family constantly, and fighting. Us humans sometimes interfere for worse as we cause problems like climate change and global warming. In conclusion, animals do not have it any easier than us and can still feel emotion and physical pain: they just do not know of their existence like we do due to their lack of intelligence.

Tree holes are very very important in Nature! There is lots of competition as you can see in this awesome video above! Not only several species of birds like the confinements of a home in a tree hole, many other animals and insects look for them too, specially bees! So if you want to help birds just install nest boxes wherever you can...

Absolutely stunning. Wonderful photography, beautiful British countryside (with what looked like lovely weather), mixed with a gripping story. Your narration was a bonus and drew me right into the lives of these beautiful birds. You are a credit to this art and the winners are us viewers and the lovely birds that you document. Many thanks for your videos. 👍🏻😀
