Always worked in St. Louis. Friends would always talk about The Hill. All the good restaurants there. I will go there one day to have real Italian pasta 🍝. Real spaghetti. Before I die.

I have only been here one time in the mid90s and it is still the veal piccata of my dreams. I tell everybody who wants my opinion on Italian food they need to experience this restaurant! my boyfriend at the time who Didn’t know a jacket was required took me there at the time they required men wear jackets in the dining room for dinner. I don’t know that they still do. We were visiting St. Louis. It was our only chance to get to this restaurant and I don’t know. where my boyfriend found this jacket, but he got a jacket and we sat and we both Enjoyed Truly, the finest Italian dinner, either one of us ever enjoyed

Amazing story! One of the nicest love stories as well! I hope to one day visit St. Lous, and come to your restaurant. My great grandfather, Liberio Galati, & his son Edward Dominic Galati, immigrated from Palermo, Sicily.. looks like a good chance we could be related! ♡
