That canoe ride was so peaceful. The lake looked so beautiful. I agree its best to try to see things off the beaten path. Enjoying the vlogs. Loved the journey down the inside passage weather was awesome.

Definitely mate, I couldn't just stick to the tourist trap areas I wouldn't have felt I'd seen the real places doing that.

Another great vlog thanks Nicky. What we have to remember is that a lot of these remote towns only exist to tourists because of tourism, we want you to see them as they were but unfortunately that’s not how it works. I didn’t think I wanted to do an Alaska cruise but it’s definitely on our list after seeing the incredible sights you’ve provided, thank you both. ❤

Yes of course, they are all amazing to see, I was just nit picking some final thoughts. Do it mate it's an awesome experience 👍😎

Beautiful! I feel its worth it for me to take flight to Alaska just to tour back via ship through the passage. I see a constant stream of ships come through here might have to join them. What a great series guys x

Thanks, that was a cool day on the water! I was thinking at the time I wonder whereabouts you lived as we were passing through👍

The last time I was in a canoe was in Disneyland. Not quite the same as your adventure, but when that riverboat is bearing down, you paddle like your life depends on it! At least I thought that way when I was 10. Thanks so much for sharing your views of Alaska, both the stunning visuals and honest opinions. I like how you try to experience some of the non-touristy things with your limited time and when you insert the history of your stops. You’re very respectful visitors. Looking forward to the last leg.

Thanks, Stu. always great feedback with your comments! Also when I was in a boat that size it was the Jurassic world one at Universal! Same feeling when the T rex was bearing down, but I was 42😆

It's been great following your trip as we were on a similar itinerary two weeks later. What a difference two weeks makes - there were seven ships in Ketchikan that day with an estimated 20,000 passengers - a new record. Most of us chose to visit Creek Street at the same time! The sun was out though, and we preferred Ketchikan as a town over Juneau. The Lumberjack show is not normally the sort of thing we do, but we loved it and I think you would too. Next time!

That's alot! We would have probably done the show if not for the excursion we went on. Looked fun. Thanks for following along👍

Great final part to Alaska. Creek street looked really scenic and must have had some great history. We are looking forward to Vancouver to see what you find. We loved it there😍 so always good to see another persons take 😎

If you do go back to Alaska, you must take the trip to Denali, it is stunningly gorgeous, I wish we had spent more time there. we flew over Denali Park and the next day we took a bus trip through it as well. Your videos have brought back many memories and I’ve enjoyed them immensely. Cheers!

Hi N&C - that was a very interesting canoe excursion. 🛶 What a great place to get away and go off the grid and escape civilization. That was so kind of the guy at Weavers to give you the purse. The Alaska Fish House looked very good. Nice sunshine on the Inside Passage - gorgeous landscapes. Any chance you’re planning on visiting Victoria while you’re in Vancouver? Great vlog, hugs to you both. Cheers!!! 😎❤🍻

Another great vlog!! Just think about Ketchikan right now. Terrible mud slides and houses going down a cliff. I really feel for these people since we were actually there. Anyway, we loved being in AK as much as you two. Hope you like Vancouver as much as we did. Our hotel was connected to the Parq casino hotel, so of course I had to gamble. Won $600 on the last day before going home. What a way to end our AK/Canadian trip. Looking forward to your other vlogs in future.

Hi Nicky and Claire. That was a nice a peaceful canoe activity. You could really enjoy the eagle flying over the forest and settled down on a tree. Creek Street was nice place with great history. You can imagine yourself how things were back in the 1900's. Love that Dolly's House sign. So cool and probably accurate too. LOL. I'm happy that Alaska met your expectations. So many great views of nature. I'm like you and Claire. I like to go out explore the areas away from the tourist area. I have discover many wonderful places and met many lovely people. Hopefully you both will have another opportunity to explore Alaska without the cruise. Looking forward to the Vancouver Vlogs. Thanks for sharing and take care.

Awesome Vlogs Nicky and Clare, from Vegas to cruise Vlogs ,always well done. Doing a back to back Cel Summit cruise next May. When in Alaskin Ports , is it all U.S currency or can you use Canada currency?
@nickyfurmageАй бұрын
Thanks appreciate it👍 it's all US currency I believe but I could be wrong.

Out of curiosity how many US states have you guys done now? Any favourites? I'd quite like to tick off all of them over time but stuck on 13 currently.
