Hi, kye, just like to let you know that I tried to make this bread roll again yesterday, and so happy , I made it this time, it came out perfectly and yummy. I add an half amount of shredded coconut in the filling , actually it did enhance the flavor, and because of I ran out instant yeast, I just replaced it with 1/2 tsp of double acting baking powder, it was okay too . No more hollow on the top and heavy at the bottom . Thanks for the recipe

Hi Kyle, I love all your recipes, thanks for your kindness sharing with us. By the way if I don’t use ax than gum for the buttermilk fillings, will it affect the outcome? Thank you in advance.
It would be great to have printable recipes that would also include the instructions. I am very old school and need a written format of a recipe before able to try it out. So far, your videos have been wonderful and I will be trying some recipes soon but will first have to type out the "how to" and print them out. Do you have recipe for keto 冰皮月饼??

Hi, Kye, I made this bread roll today, wow, the milk filling tasted so good, I found the coconut cream powder in the local market , so I used it instead of coconut milk powder, I don't know if they are the same or not ? Anyway , it came out really good. Only question I have is that my bread didn't rise much like yours, and the bread kind of sank down the bottom, and texture is pretty sticky . I am wondering it's because the baking pan I used? I used the bread loaf pan. And the sticky texture is beacsue of too much liquid ingredient ? I accidentally poured too much egg white , about 10 to 11 g over :(

Hi Eunice, glad that you like the filling ☺️ these are some possible reasons to the following conditions ya: 1. Rising issue - maybe due to the extra egg white that the bread is too moist and heavy so it can’t rise as much - yeast activity, fermentation temperature etc. You may let it rise for a longer time and at warmer environment. 2. Sticky texture - It sounds like the bread it is not cooked through yet. It’s also best to let the bread cool so that it can set more. Hope this helps 🥰

Hi Eunice, I haven’t tried but you can probably try using some coconut flour. But I guess it will be more of a drier consistency. 🤔

@@euniceun6684 hmm it’s to enhance the flavour. But because it is in powder form so it in a way help absorb other wet ingredients to form the filling. I am guessing coconut flour makes a drier filling as it’s more absorbent and has crumbly texture. ☺️

Hi Antra, it’s dried coconut milk and can be reconstitute with water for recipes that call for coconut milk, similar to milk powder. If you can’t find it in your area, you may try substituting with 2 more teaspoons of coconut flour. ;)

Hi Weiyong, the texture maybe be slightly different. But you can try substitute with 1/4 amount of coconut flour and see how it goes. Can add a little more if it’s too wet. 😉
