I'm 69 years old, been making scrambled eggs my entire life, never paid attention to when I add the salt; and the ONLY time I get watery eggs is when DAIRY is added instead of plain water. My heart goes out to anyone who has a problem with watery scrambled eggs. Just use a tsp. of water to 2 eggs INSTEAD of any sort of dairy. Try it . . . you'll like it. 😃
@adama12949 ай бұрын

I do a keto “oat meal” ie: flax meal porridge with coconut milk, cinnamon, butter, coconut oil, and low carb berries of your choice. I like blackberries but raspberries or blueberries work too. Heat coconut milk (full fat) and flax in a pan and when simmer begins pull it off the heat and add the remaining ingredients and it’s ready to serve once the butter is melted. Takes literally 5 minutes from prep to table.

The terms breakfast/ lunch/dinner are a marketing ploy. Instead of asking ‘what can I eat for breakfast?’ , change your mindset to ask simply: ‘what can I eat!’ 😊
@Gunter_Severloh3 жыл бұрын
More of a cultural thing then marketing i would think, in reality people should be eating when their hungry not at specific times, we've established all these patterns and habits revolving around when our blood sugar drops which if you think about it is retarded. Considering the biological science behind eating high fat, moderate protein and low or no carbs there is no blood sugar issue, then you can simple eat when you "need" to for the sake of energy, nutrition and function then to eat because its that "time" to eat again. The times we all eat the 3+ meals a day creates a hormoneal algorythem, the hormone ghrelin will release when its time to eat making you hungry, eating OMAD and Keto changes this to where eating once a day that hunger signal really never shows up because you become used to not having cravings for food in general and or specific foods like you would eating carbs, i mean on the sugar diet, lol
@CaptainHieronymusLex6 ай бұрын
No its not, its body connected. A lot of people have a weak and sensitive stomach in the morning and if they are hungry they prefer something light and mild. Or craving something sweet. The more the days goes on and people get really hungry they want something more heavy etc. Thats the reason.

Regarding the scrambled eggs... The cream cheese is a very good addition. I have done that for years. But the salt on the other hand... If you add salt to a raw egg, you denature the proteins. I don't salt my eggs until after they have soft set in the pan. They are never watery. Something else to try is to not scramble your eggs until they are in the pan. Using a spatula to stir the eggs in the pan, resulting in nice fluffy scrambled eggs and saves cleaning a bowl.

One of my favorite things for breakfast is like a scrambled egg stir-fry thing. It’s still eggs, but you can mix it up much more. I love slicing up sausage, and broccoli/broccolini. I used a Teton Waters pre-cook beef sausage, so I just defrost it in the microwave then sear the chunks I cut in the pan, throw in the broccolini for about a minute with ghee/butter until it’s sautéed, then add the mixed eggs. Adding a dash of whole milk tot he eggs makes them a lot more voluminous and fluffy. Turn down the heat and “steam” it by covering the lid.
