I woke up in the middle of the night thinking 🤔 keto dumplings 🥟 There has to be a way ! I thought about it and figured it’d be like a fathead dough (mozzarella & egg) and probably some almond flour. I was excited to get in the kitchen the next day to find out how to do it... then took a moment and was like, Someone has probably done it already. I looked up a couple of keto websites and there it was! FatKitchen.com made a keto potsticker 🥟 with a dough I had imagined. Welp there’s no reason to reinvent the wheel right? 🤣

MACROS
Filling:
3.2 Net carbs
61.5g Protein
30.1g Fat
554 calories
1/2c cabbage slaw thin shred
1/2lb ground beef
1/2tsp salt
1/4tsp white pepper
1/4tsp ginger ground
1 scallion
1/2tsp garlic ground
1tsp sesame oil
1tsp coconut flour
Process or mix all ingredients except for flour and ground meat.
Add meat and flour, mix in.
Pan cook, drain fat and allow to cool

1 egg yolk
1/4c + 1tbs finely ground almond flour

Parchment paper+ oil spray+ rolling pin + cookie cutter or circle form to cut into dough

Ahhhhh- you made my recipe 🥟 🥟🥟 💕💕👏🏼👏🏼! What was your final review then 😬 - it sounded like you both liked them ? But I would love to hear ur overall thoughts! I have not tried them with beef yet! Shaping them can definitely be tricky, I watched videos of potsticker folding and practiced many times to make them look so perfect when I took my pictures for the recipe post 😂! but mine don’t usually make it longer than 5 minutes before they’re gone🤷🏼‍♀️ So normally I don’t spend much time shaping when nobody’s lookin ;). Thanks so much for making my recipe, sharing your video and linking to my blog!!!! 💕

Overall thoughts!!! SO Delicious!! We took them camping and reheated then in a foil pack offset to the fire 🔥. They heated up nice! Our friend is gluten free and loved them!!! She said she hasn’t ate a potsticker or dumpling of any sort in Soooooooooooo Long ❤️. I’m pretty sure I didn’t get them really pretty because I had to shut my air conditioning off so the video wouldn’t pick up that loud hummmming .. so I couldn’t control my temperature inside so they weren’t really cooling down enough to handle properly. That is totally on me and I hope I clearly shared that 😁 I think it got across.

Yesss !! I ❤️ dumplings! I always made my own before and now that I’m trying out low carb recipes.. WOW this is so freaking tasty 😋

This is nothing like real Chinese dumplings. I lived there for years and learned to make them. It’s the filling that is off

Same belief ! This is a keto version of a dumpling not the same or traditional at all . I’d love to get your recipe if you want to share 😆

I am wondering if I could use this dough for perogies and of course I would use mashed cauli flour instead of mashed potatoes And I wonder if these could be boiled or steamed

Brilliant idea 💡 I’m thinking tho dough would maybe work with a good sear in the pan first until crispy with a good base.. and maybe a small splash of water in the pan with lid 3/4 on to steam/ cook through. The doughs integrity is sensitive because of the cheese but adding cauliflower really might hold it together. FatKitchen.com is the creator of this recipe. They might be able to help you out on this question even more than me. 🤗

Worst keto pot stickers recipe ever!!! Left out important instruction. I didn’t learn how to make pot stickers!

Sorry no, for the entire batch of dumpling dough is 573calories . So 573 ; divide by how ever many dumplings you end of making.This original recipe is from FatKitchen.com for more details.
