Hello everyone.
Today there is a recipe
Keto Steamed stuffed bun, hight of protein, no flour, no sugar, come for you.
hope you all like it
Ingredients (seasoning to your liking)
270 g Minced pork
Garlic
3 Coriander roots
1 tsp Ground pepper
1 Egg
1/3 tsp Xanthan gum
1-2 Tbsp Kikkoman Sauce
Stevia syrup,as your like
Boiled eggs (optional)
170 g Egg white
2 Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp Lemon juice
25 g Erythritol
2 tbsp Coconut flour
1/2 tsp Xanthan gum
Tips
During steaming, the lid should be opened and closed frequently. Don't let the buns become too puffed up. The texture is not smooth and beautiful.
*If you choose to steam (medium heat) only
It will take about 25 minutes.
!! But there is a risk that the inside of the bun won't be cooked, take a good look.
**Recommended to do 2 steps.
1. Steam from the outside first about 12 minutes.
2. Microwave 15-20 seconds at a time, about 3-4 times.
3. The bun recipe can make 6 pieces / minced pork filling can make 2 recipes
4. If you can't eat it all, keep the freezer compartment and heat it in the microwave.

Wow thank you for this. I came up with my own recipe using a blend of baking powder and coconut flour to get a really fluffy rise and the texture was close but not Quite. The taste also wasn't quite what I wanted, but again - very close...impossible to put filling in because the dough was only firm enough to hold in a ball shape but not fold into a dumpling. This looks much much better. Will be trying this on the weekend!

@@TheSeasAsleep I only made it once and didn't write down exact measurements. But it was a mixture of coconut flour, eggs, about a tbsp of baking powder and i think inulin or something. i wish i remember honestly, i was knee deep in baking experiments at the time and only wrote down the successful ones, which that one wasn't.

The amount of Xanthan in the eggwhite mixture was 1/2 tsp but looked more like 1/2 tbsp?? It won't get thick and sticky my mixture😢, should i increase the Xanthan???

Have you try with cooked filling? Maybe the Bun steam and cook better. The microwave part. You just microwave 3 to 4 time . Each time 15 second? Like microwave and stop and Microwave again?

Once I mixed in coconut flour it deflate n turn into liquid. Where did it went wrong?

@@carolinegween3485 no I tdon't think that's it because I tried this recipe myself and I kept it at a lower speed than even the one shown in the video and it still deflated

3rd time making it, follow the recipe exactly became a pan cake. I don't know if this video is made with just egg white n coconut flour n xantha gum.

did you whip the egg whites as long as she did? it looks like she beat it till it gave up the ghost and then beat it some more. I haven't made it yet, but It looks like she took it way past typical meringue texture. it looked quite gluey and riding up the beaters. most egg white recipes warn against over beating to avoid deflating, and that's what I was watching for but she just kept going and going and going till the egg whites were sticking and climbing the tools. The only thing in egg white is protein and i recall a different Asian food-tuber talking about stiring the meat in one direction to align the proteins. and I wonder if that is what happened from beating the egg whites so much.

If it does not work, Just mix with some real egg white. Or some egg white powder. Also, you can dry the liquid egg into powder and then use it instead of regular egg white.
