Yeasted Almond Bread
Pan size: 4 x 4 x 4 inch (10 x 10 x 10 cm) square pan
INGREDIENTS
3 large egg yolks
1 large egg
2 ½ tablespoons (38mL) avocado oil or any oil of choice
1 cup (100g) blanched almond flour
¼ teaspoon (2g) salt
½ teaspoon (2g) baking powder
½ teaspoon (1.5g) instant dry yeast
3 large egg whites
¼ teaspoon (1g) cream of tartar or ½ teaspoon (3mL) lemon juice
1 tablespoon (13g) granulated sweetener (optional)
Bake at 350°F (177°C) for 30-35 minutes until toothpick is clean when inserted.

I've tried numerous bread recipes that were either to salty, to dense, to dry or way to eggy! But this is a great recipe! I actually used a generic brand of ground almonds which included the skin, it turned out great! (I doubled the recipe/with lemon juice). I really appreciate your dedication in providing viewers and subscribers with recipes & ingredient weights that actually work in real life!!! Please do not change your trajectory! What you are doing works!!

I made this bread tonight to go along with my chicken soup. I have made many keto bread recipes and by far this one is the best! It's very light in texture and very delicious! I did not have a square pan, so I used one of my bread pans (8 X 3), buttered the inside, and it came out smelling and looking like a wonderful loaf of bread! It is now my favorite keto bread recipe :) Thank you so much for all your recipes, I am a big fan of your channel!

I made in a loaf pan. So delicious topped mine with jalapeño everything seasoning. Mine didn't rise as nicely so now I put the loaf pan linked in description. Hopefully this helps so good!!

This could be it people, this could be what we've all been waiting for. A bread recipe that substitutes deliciously but without the insulin which causes inflammation. This could be the most delicious bread without the disease causing wheat flour that's in practically everything - bread, pasta, biscuits, etc and we are eating in excess off. Thank you for this, I'm definitely going to try the recipe. Can everyone who makes it report back so we can know if majority likes it or not? Then we will know if it's a worthwhile contender.

This stuff worked out pretty well and is the best tasting non-cerial grain bread I've made (sugar helped a lot I'm sure (I used half allulose, half xylitol)). It still had the same problem some others had though; It kinda collapsed on me. Seems like it could have used more leavening, even though it had whipped egg whites, baking powder, and instant yeast. My baking powder is a bit old though, and I wonder what the life span of that stuff is...

Love all your videos. Best presentation and easiest to follow. I have a question. What low carb bread has the best bread like texture. That's what kills it for me every time. This looks like pound cake consistency to me. I miss the texture of bread if that makes any sense. I'm tired of experimenting!

This seems a very good recipe 👍 can I ask you what of your recipes is more similar to croissants? I am unsure about Almond biscuits, cheese Scones, English Scones, cheddar crackers, homemade biscuits or goey butter cake. I did. I replaced it with 1/2tsp baking soda and it still worked but the taste is eggy

You can but you may have to adjust the liquid ingredients because coconut flour is much more absorbent than any other flours 💕

Hi Theresa, you might need a bun mold. The batter is too thin to hold on it’s own before baking.❤️

Too many eggs, it's actually turned out too runny, I had to add more flour. It wouldn't rise, of course, because yeasts don't have a sugar to eat. So the yeast there is only for yeasty taste. And the taste is like almonds and eggs.

It can last up to 5 days in an airtight container, chilled. Total carbs per slice is 4g, for the whole loaf is 28g ❤️

What's the point of the yeast? You don't add anything to the recipe for the yeast to eat. You don't give the yeast time to make the dough rise. It serves no purpose what-so-ever.
