At around 37:00 I have learned that anything skin related tends to heal when you heal the gut. My hypothesis is that the skin is the backside of the gut, anything that happens in the gut will be mirrored in the skin. After around 20 months of carnivore diet I healed some difficult skin issues that were there since my previous two years of keto and then carnivore. Thanks for the video!

Your YT is so inspiring and I learn so much from you. Thank you for your openness and encouragement. I am 6 plus months in now and down about 50 lbs....I put away my scale though because it isn't good for my psych at moment. I weigh in once every few months.

Wow, congratulations! And good idea to focus on health rather than the scale!

I am learning so much from you. You are very articulate and easy to understand. I'm hoping to catch one of your live shows soon, but I'm grateful for the recordjng. I am on day 3 of the sardine challenge and feeling fantastic. My blood glucose is finally down below 100 this morning, I have great energy and am hoping to be burning a lot of fat very soon. I think I will be sticking with the sardines a while longer because I feel so great! I might just try lion next!

Since I don’t have enough bones to make a homemade broth, is there a commercial brand you liked? I’d like to start a fast that eliminates dairy and coffee. I’m currently a carnivore and may eventually try the lion’s diet. Your channel is great and I look forward to your videos as I am also in my 60s.

I'm in Canada and I have yet to see a commercial bone broth that I'm happy with. Many like Kettle & Fire in the US but I can't justify the cost when I know I can make it for a fraction of the cost.

I just watched a really good video by Stephanie person about how dangerous it can be to add iodine without testing! We really need to be careful, and take supplements according to what our own bodies need. Thanks for this, love your channel!

It's now zMonday, so Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you had a great holiday and lots of turkey. But if you are doing Lion, you had a beef roast. Yummy❤

Excellent video thank you. Correct on the mug ritual definitely helps me in the morning. I can’t find bone broth locally without veggies, tried roasting bones and cooked for many hours and it was awful. Any suggestions?

I bought about 2kg of Beef for Gulasch-Soup (made that) and in a seperate pot cooked up the bones after baking. More or less to get the valuable marrow (high in collagen) after I used an immersion blender, strained out any larger bits and then mixed this in with the gulasch soup. If you season the soup a little, it is quite tasty. I’ve got enough for a few weeks, if I eat some everyday. Thinkin I’ll freeze some of it. The meat started falling apart, super tender 😋 But I‘m new at this too, so maybe search for some recipes online. Good luck.

I never roast my bones! Go easy on yourself. It's super easy to make yourself: ketogenicwoman.com/keto-and-carnivore-bone-broth/

I sometimes do “cheat”. I might eat one bite of something “ naughty” just to taste it. Now I realize it is so not worth it. After all the years of SAD do you think there are long term health repercussions despite going keto and losing lots of weight and dropping lots of meds?
@KetogenicWoman2 ай бұрын
You cannot change your years of SAD, none of us can. But all the damage can be mostly if not all reversed by following the Proper Human Diet. Some of us will just take longer than others. Sounds like you are doing great!

Look to Kelly Hogan for many great tweaks you can use to get the scale moving again. ❤ Don't give up or cheat- That will certainly not get the scale moving down !
