I’ll be following you closely for the fasting. Ive suffered with horrible tinnitus for years now and I’ve never heard about a link to fasting. I currently intermittent fast. Usually 22/2 but I have done 5 and 6 day fast before. If this works for you I’ll definitely do it to. Thanks Larry and Cassie for all the good info you put out!

All my favorites. This morning I made a big batch of sardine pate for the refrigerator raids and meals. I will often put all these together in the pate and it is so fabulous. A few pork rinds to dip into this and a big Spoonfull as a treat and asca meal. Yummy

You could dehydrate and grind the sardines into fish flour and make "Omega-3 meat bread" 😂.

3:30 I got autoimmune diseases from my mainly plant based diet over 5 decades. Plants almost killed me. Going all carnivore literally saved my life. Concerning *cheese* ... you can add cheese like *parmesan* if you like chesse, as it has *ZERO* carbs and because it's made from natural milk, it won't even bother people, who are lactose intolerant. ;-)

I'm with you, Anita. I don't like very sweet either. I rarely use more than a quarter of the sweetener given in recipes. Plenty sweet enough for me.

When whipping the butter, it helps to place the bowl in cold water with ice cubes while whipping it. ;-) Cheers from Germany for the effort you are putting into your videos. 🙂

The pots of ice cream appear to have ice walls. Gently going around the outside with a butter knife before respinning fixes that.

In the Ninja Creami recipe book it says to flatten the bump in the pot. A lot of people have broken their machines but not doing so.

Ok. Im vonna give this recipe away. I eat this often. Need: 1 pound of ground turkey or chicken Stick of butter Olive oil if you like it Himalayan salt freshly ground Black pepper ground, if you like it. Half cup water Two to four eggs One 10-11 inch cast iron skillet A blade for chopping the meat. I use a 3" stainless steel painters spackling knife Heat your pan with some olive oil. Toss the ground meat into the pan and cook it, chopping it up as you go. Salt snd pepper it and add the butter when it is fully cooked. I generally do this over high heat (gas stove). After the butter is melted into the cooked meat, lower the heat to medium and add half cup to a cup of water and let it simmer. Make indentations for the number of eggs you choose, and crack an egg into each indentation and leave alone for a while as the eggs begin to poach. Once the whites start to become white, start to move the meat closer to the yolks, and, using a spoon, gently get some of the liquid at the sides of the skillet snd pour over the yolks then pile the meats over the yolks gently. Let them cook a little bit, but the idea is to keep the yolks liquid or soft. Dont over cook them but make sure the whites are fully cooked. Turn off the heat, and eat the whole pan serving. That meal is half my daily food and I eat this in the evenings. Youll love it. Its soupy juicy meat, buttery, and the eggs and the yolks add such a wonderful gravy flavor. Youll thank me after you make this. You can also serve it with some sour cream!

It's a 213g can which yields about 7.5 oz salmon approximately.

I needed to change my thinking. What I did was watch probably about 2-4 hours daily of Carnivore KZbinrs such as Dr Berry, Dr Chaffe, Kerry from Homestead How, Kelly Hogan, Ketogenic Woman, plus many, many more. I also read the comments, which validated the benefits for this WOE.

I'm 70 and just getting started. I downloaded an app that said I should be eating 4.3 ounces of meat and 1772 calories a day. 4 ounces of meat seems like it won't keep me going with everything I have going on, and where do I get the rest of the calories? There's only so much butter a body can eat/drink. I have 100 lbs to go and am caregiver for several family members. I need more energy than electrolytes are providing.
@KetogenicWoman18 сағат бұрын
Ok, this is a common error. Not your fault, it's just unfortunate that it's not explained better! I'm guessing that the app told you to eat approx 120g protein in a day, which *does not mean weight* It is macros, not weight!. To get about 120g of protein in macros that is more than 1 lb of meat per day. So take a closer look at that, you definitely need and should be eating WAY more than 4 ounces of meat per day.

I know a lot of people don't like the eyeballs or heads on fish, but it used to be the way to determine that the fish the house wife was buying at the fish market were actually fresh. A clear eye on a fresh fish is an indication that the fish is fresh.

Someone should start a company producing these to be sold in all grocery stores! I so sick of being forced to buy crap cause that's all that's sold or all the organic high quality items are often out of stock. People are waking up these food companies better too or they will go under! The consumer wants healthy food at an affordable price. I do like the little jars and machine!

Great video, Anita. I love the “keep it simple” approach. After a year of Carnivore, I still find many of the recipes challenging, and find a good ribeye or burger easy and delicious. The joy and unity we find in Community is most exciting and encouraging to me. Love being part of your community! Thanks for all the great information and inspiration you provide!

Great tutorial! I'd like to add an extra protein but not Keto Chow. Could I use collagen, gelatin or whey instead? Any ideas about the amount for 2 sticks of butter? Thanks!
@KetogenicWoman18 сағат бұрын
I have not actually tried to do that so not 100% sure. Maybe play around with just 1 stick of butter and a tbsp of whey to see how that goes.

I'm with you, it's very personal what supplements if any, one should take, and research and informed consent are crucial. We have been doing keto for a number of years and the only supplement we ever used on a regular basis was magnesium or an electrolyte blend (brain forza brand). I also took D3 on and off. Since getting into the Super Gut book, we decided that if we were going to do it the way Dr. Davis suggests, we were going to get the supplements. The ones outlined in the plan made a lot of sense. I did tons of research to make sure my cancer medication would not interact with any of the supplements. Turned out that the curcumin could potentially reduce the effectiveness of my medication, IF I took them together, in doses 3x the amount suggested by Dr. Davis, and IF I took it with the piperine additive so commonly found in curcumin supplements (this is from a UK study, and a few other pages listing food/supplement/medication interactions). So, I found a brand of curcumin that I could precisely control the dosage of, no piperine, and I take it at opposite ends of the day from my medication. We have to do our own research. I did ask about it at my most recent oncology appointment. The NP wasn't concerned about curcumin at all. I'm not sure how to take that, except that I'll continue to do my own research and act with caution.
